In reasonable and developed countries almost every street has an ATM.
But in Nigeria they are frustrating the opening of ATMs because banks gain more money by giving out POS.

Why the fuss about the policy abi CBN governor? Why do we Nigerians hate to say the truth? Because government made a policy which is likely to benefit us all, then some greedy Nigerians decided to take advantage of the scarcity of naira to exploit others in the name of POS business and you are here saying it's the CBN governor that should be prosecuted and not the criminals charging Nigerians exorbitant fee for withdrawal? How can you charge someone 1000 for withdrawing 5000. It's a criminal offence.
all of u saying policy is helping us, which mumu policy is that. U made policy and didn't make the new note available. Since Friday I have been looking for cash, ATM are not paying and the POS u see they charge a lot and will still give u old notes.

Seriously our banks are the ones sabotaging this policy... One of my customers said he pays 10k Charges to collect 100k from his bank.... Very greedy lots....

CBN should beam their light on the commercial banks...

More than 50% of the POS operators have closed their shops, the remaining are using money to buy money. Instead of making the money available you are thinking of prosecuting the POS operators

You can't control the circumstances.

CBN created the lapses with their hastiness

You know you lacked the capacity to deliver and you putting a deadline because you know the president is a none skull

This is a simple case of Law of Demand. Did CBN prosecute Forex operators when excessive demand for dollars was driving it so high from around N179 to $1when he undeservedly took mantle of CBN to as bad as N765 to $1 at a point in time?

You better vote Tinubu because he's the only presidential candidate criticising the manner of implementation of this wicked policy. Other candidates like Atiku and Obi are neither here nor there, just flip-flopping, going forth and back.

APC will never go to the bottom or
roots of any problem, but prefer to be
slashing at the branches☹️☹️

If banks are dispensing money, why will
anyone go and pay exorbitant rates at
the POS.

And if Central Bank had made enough
currency available, why will banks not
dispense❓❓

The problem is Emefiele & CBN❗️❗️❗️

Why are prosecuting POS operators ? Its a business. Most importantly, you caused the artificial scarcity which brought this about .
Go after the banks and leave the pop and mum shops alone.

lmao. I wonder how he intend to go hard on POS operators when the CBN can't even seem to do the one thing they're suppose to do properly. Abeg Emefiele should stop making noise, POS operators are cashing out daily because of the gross ineptitude of the CBN.

This is a shame. The CBN and it's governor should be ashamed. They're a disgrace and a mistake that isn't suppose to happen.
