They conducted a poll that predicted who the electorates were likely to vote for, their poll wasn't which governors were likely to rig the most. They were clear on the source of data, maybe their mistake was not asking Wike how many persons he would kill in the course of rigging elections for BAT or asking Yahaya Bello whether this was a good time of the year to excavate roads or not.

Is this the first time Wike is conducting elections. These polls were blind to all Rivers elections since 1999 that they are expecting something different? Is this the first time Yaya Bello is conducting elections?

If you dont factor those factors then you have no business making a poll

In football Stoke city might be a poor team but astute analysts knows the going to Brittania stadium defies most logic

Larride, Raumdeuter, Oasis, Gloriousgbola, Joe and other Asiwaju/ APC loyalist.

P. Obi, Obidients and to some extent the LP presents a different kind of opposition that your party has ever dealt with or that we have seen in the history of Nigerian politics.

We are talking about an active, literate, and present group that will hold you guys to task. I hope you are ready for the scrutiny that is coming the way of your principal.

You guys would not be allowed to use the failures of Buhari to excuse your failure in turning the country around.
The same Oasis has been using fire emoji to celebrate results being cooked for his candidate from Rivers despite knowing that people were killed, maimed and threatened to get these results is the same person you're expecting to criticize BAT...you go wait tey.

Guy you're very funny you spoke with authority that Imo figures for APC were rigged ok show evidence. Its trust me bro its true you're going with SMH

Spy360:

I can't. I wasn't part of the rigging process.

I only know because of what I have already seen and heard on ground plus some common sense.

Not sure about others but definitely not from me. The embolden has always been my position when it comes to the winner of the election.

Roland17:

Truthfully, I don't think improved health would have mattered or changed much in terms of results. Ruling as a military head of state is different from being an elected president.

After 8 years, Buhari has shown he lacks the knowledge, sense of awareness, expertise and more importantly the accountability to take ownership for the failures in the country. The commentaries coming from the presidency over the last month has been one of resignation to the challenges. I have listened to Buhari speak severally and there is nothing stimulating enough to keep my attention because he is not saying anything specific that will address the problems of Nigeria and it is reflected in the actions the executive have taken in addressing any of our glaring issues.

This is why I said, all the aspirants know the mess Nigeria is in right now. If anyone knows he is going to use Buhari's failures as a platform to excuse their own failures then the person should not waste the time of Nigerians because it will be deceit. Nigerians are suffering baba, things are so bad right now. The incoming president should be ready from day one to make meaningful impact, not just talk but meaningful impact in addressing some of our pressing needs.

I can't imagine what another 4-8 years of failure will look like for Nigeria.

My complain is not about Tinubu winning or losing any state, maybe u are confusing me for someone else.

My position is that the election is not relatively free and fair like u alluded. The election does not satisfy the condistion of COERCION BEING COMPARATIVELY UNCOMMON( We saw what happened in Rivers, Lagos and Kogi; at least those were caught on camera). VOTERS SUPPRESSION? It happened. ELECTORAL FRAUD? INEC and their Ad-Hoc staff aided and abetted this well enough. FAIR PROCESS? The electoral process is far from fair.

But if think none of this matter but a candidate winning some and losing some states is all that matters, then it means we both have different understanding of relatively free and fair election

When I said relative, I was comparing this to elections in Nigerias history.

Is there any election in the history of Nigeria where any of the things you mentioned failed to happen?

You can choose to be a realist and accept that within the framework of a Nigerian environment, this election was as free and fair as you were likely to get, or you can insist on looking for saints in the depths of hell.

I don't hold him more responsible than those who are on ground. He didn't participate in the process, even those he could have influenced were adults who should reason for themselves.

That's why he will still advice any one to japa at the slightest opportunity.

It's those on ground who actually participated directly or indirectly and who are not going to be direct beneficiaries of the new political power that are the real evil.

There are 6million votes for Tinubu currently

Believe me, I didnt have 1 of those 6m. It was Nigerians who decided this is who they want, And their choices should be respected

There's a news/rumor going round now that none of PDP or APC can be declared winner of the election despite getting the required 25% in 25 states because the law says u must have 25% in 24 states AND FCT.

LP won FCT by 62% and none of PDP or APC had up to 25% there.

At this point una sure say Mahmood Yakubu no go get migraine like this?

The pollsters have different audiences...those that want a poll on the candidate likely to win a largely free and fair election based off data from everyday voters will get their information from Stears, SBM and ANAP (it serves its purpose, be it as a predictor of what the results would be, what it should have been or simply for posterity, it serves its purpose).

Those that want data on who's most likely to win based off a governors ability to maim, kill and intimidate voters and electoral officials; a candidates ability to use access to state to sabotage the process and suppress votes in places they're weak; or even have his governor do the unthinkable like excavate roads, will turn to Jarus or Jamal at Iyana-Iworo (it serves its purpose be it as a predictor of what the results would be, what it should have been or for posterity, it serves its purpose).

LP should have won the election or at least forced a run off.

How will this happen when LP is scoring single digits percentage in over 10 states and less than 25 in about 17 states

He either wins or forces a run-off. The candidate most likely to get that spread was Atiku, the candidate that was least likely to get the spread was BAT and the candidate that could have pulled a surprise and got the spread and majority number of votes in a largely free and fair election was Peter Obi.

Do you understand what spread means?

North has 19 states which ones do you expect APC not to have 25%. SW has 6 states which ones do you expect Tinubu not to get 25%
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 4:31pm On Feb 28, 2023
Chief it just beats my imagination. Your candidate won a statistically near impossible number of votes in region way better than your opponents but they are the ones who rigged.

6 states in the South West, and at best 17 states up North.
