I don't give out information that I did not get from reliable source. While Atiku was running for the PDP ticket, he already had a secret agreement with Okowa.

Okowa contribute to the dollars he spent at the PDP primary. That is the reason southern leaders always accuse Okowa of betrayal. He hosted southern governors at Asaba where it was agreed that power should rotate to South but the same Okowa was secretly working for Atiku.

That is the reason why Atiku refused to have Wike as his deputy even when everyone in PDP knows that Wike has more political value than Okowa.

Atiku was determined to reward Okowa for betraying the south but it has backfired. Okowa could not even deliver Delta State. Hence Atiku wants to shift the blame to Peter Obi.

Unfortunately PDP does not know the value of Peter Obi before the presidential election. Remember how PDP leaders in SE protested when Atiku selected him in 2019.

Do you know that after the last Anambra Guber election win by Soludo, PDP leaders accused Peter Obi of being a lightweight politician that cannot led the party to election victory in Anambra.

When it was time for election into PDP NWC, the national secretary was zoned to SE and later Anambra state. Peter Obi nominated one of his ally for the position.

However Wike convinced the PDP leaders including Atiku that Obi has fail in Anambra and cannot nominate the party secretary. Wike then hijack the process and nominated Sam Anyanwu from Imo state.

As if that is not enough, Wike lobbied and ensured Peter Obi was removed as the leader of the PDP in Anambra. He was replace with Chris Uba.

With all these humiliation from PDP, it was clear the party has no regard for Obi. It was also clear to Peter Obi' s camp that Atiku was working secretly with a SS governor who will become his deputy if he gets the ticket.

Hence Obi left to prove his political value to Atiku and PDP.

The muslim-muslim ticket was the greatest weapon that Tinubu had going into the election.

He knew that he cannot win SE/ SS, hence he must compete with Atiku in the north to win. Had Tinubu selected a Christian minority from the north, Atiku would have clear NW/ NE hence winning the election.

Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket did not add a single vote to Obi. Many yorubas simply does not like Tinubu because of his overbearing nature. This includes PA Adebanjo and Obasanjo. Hence they saw Obi as a humble man that can better protect Yoruba interest.

Furthermore many yorubas and SS minorities have conscience. They are aware that if the presidency should come south, it should be the turn of the igbos.
