Overtaken is allowed. Obi has over taken Atiku. Obi has more political value now than Atiku. Obi has upgraded.

Obi has tumbledown the political table of this country. Peter Obi is a big name.

These simple factors made you lost this time: failing to pick Obi or Wike as running mate
Failing to summon Ayu.to resign which you would have promise and give him something even better after becoming president

PointB:
Obi rather picked someone with same value as him as VP. Obi is not interested in your brand of moneybag politics. He can stand by himself, cos he's standing with Nigerians.

Given what we know with the benefit of hindsight, Obi made the right call. Obi is a man; no longer a boy!

Lol.

Money bag politics you said....but Obi was interested in money bag politics in 2019.

Many of you have never, and will never know who Obi is.

There are only few people who understand him, and his style of politics.

Those of us who know his unique style of 'money politics' laugh when we read posts like yours.

But make we leave matter bro.

He won 12 states with a small party, just like Tinubu.

He won Lagos and Abuja and if the courts have their way, he may still win the Elections.

The battle is still on.

Even tinubu could not have done that with ACN.

I think apc would be using social media from now on.

It definitely worked for Peter obi.

Though apc has no credibility among intelligent people, so social media campaign is a bit too much to ask from them.
I think they will stick to what works for them- crude tribalism and religious sentiments.

This is not 2015.

How was obi interested in money bag politics?

What did obi say now that he did not say when he was VP under Atiku?

Light will always shine even in the darkness.

Atiku knew that obi was a material of integrity and competence.
Different from the pack of ambitious crooks all around him.

Obi gave him the credibility that money cannot buy and he knew it.

And that is why he would always pick him over all the other pdp desperadoes if it comes to it.

Obi is now politically retired. He has no movement to sustain is "Andrew liver salt popularity". Painfully, he also cost th SE their chance to presidency after Atiku. SE can't present Obi after 16 years from now, involving 8 years of SW and, another 8 years of the North.

He was impatient to govern. Great leaders are always patience and only strike when the coast is clear.

Oga, Obi now has more political value than you. Your only saving grace was the PDP governors that you tricked.

He should stay back and build his party. He shouldn't run to Dubai ooo!

Atiku support in 2027 is most likely to thin out in South West, South South, North Central and swathes of North West if Tinubu provides across the board good governance all over Nigeria as President.

'Yes, he took most of our votes in the South East and South South states but that won’t make him president without the North'.
And also Atiku cannot win without South East votes. In this case Jagaban beat both of them hands down.

Atiku is beginning to show clearly that his brain is paining him. I'm happy that Peter Obi did not play second fiddle to this entitled old man. There's hardly any difference between the entitlement of Atiku to Nigeria's Presidency and the "Emi Lo Kan" belief of Tinubu.

Just to be clear, Peter Obi would not have picked Atiku as running mate if he had gotten the PDP ticket.

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) party in the just concluded polls, Atiku Abubakar has said he would have picked his challenger in the Labour Party, Peter Obi again as his running mate should he have remained in the party.

Atiku said this on Thursday during a world press conference on the 2023 presidential election. According to him, Obi left PDP in 2022 when it was obvious he won’t get the party’s ticket. He said his choice of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State was part of his commitment for a balanced ticket after Obi’s exit.

“I would have picked Obi again as my running mate if he was in PDP. But he left for Labour and I can’t stop him. Yes, he took most of our votes in the South East and South South states but that won’t make him president without the North.

”Recall that Obi was running mate to Atiku in the 2019 presidential election. They lost election to President Muhammadu Buhari won then seeking a second term in office.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday, February 25, conducted the presidential and National Assembly elections and, subsequently, announced the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, winner of the election.

INEC declared the former Lagos State Governor winner of the election after he polled 8,794,726 votes.

The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu as the winner at the International Collation Centre in Abuja, during the early hours of Wednesday.

The former Lagos State governor came out tops in 12 of Nigeria’s 36 states, and secured significant numbers in several other states to claim the highest number of votes — 8,794,726.

This is almost two million votes more than his closest rival — former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.

Atiku, 76, who has now run for presidency six times, got 6,984,520 votes, while the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, who, in less than a year, galvanised young voters in a manner some have described as unprecedented, finished the race with 6,101,533.

We know, but we wanted Obi as a president

Moreover, it won't make sense for a Fulani president to handover to another Fulani after 8years.
Obi wouldn't have gathered the momentum he gathered from the concluded election, if he was under you

we don't want him you want him, someone that can't even rule or manages a state to be a top state in Nigeria, tinubu rule as a governor and the results is Lagos, he made Lagos to be where they are today
