The problem of many failed states is failure to prioritize stuff.Few folks working remotely becomes a big news,while chinese are all over constructing stuff and taking back to china blions of dollars annualy.But the locals are busy celebrating when few folks are doing theories on the internet and earn few dollars.

That is what a poor education can do. You produces many folks on the industry which needs few folks,and u produce little professionals on the industry which needs tonnes of professionals.

I still remember when kenya imported 5,000 Chinese to build a mombasa Nairobi SGR project. That is when I decided to count the number of Kenya's engineers, it was way below Tanzania. I never bother myself to check the quality of those few Kenya's engineers ,I know the answer when I see buildings collapse on a daily basis in kenya

I meant cement brands - we have 8-10 cement companies - mostly located in every city. Cement ideally should be manufactured in every major city or town - as limestone is cheaply available - and transporting bulky cement is not smart.

Limestone is present in many places...so you're going to truck cement from coast 2,000kms inward. No wonder you're backward.

In Kenya cement factories are in Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu and soon Eldoret.

They are located where highest demand will come.

Tanzania railways is being built by Turkish. Your dam by Egyptians. Kenya doesnt import chinese workers - but a few engineers. One Engineer can supervise 1000 kenyans.

And Kenya didnt have railway making expertise - and as part of deal - we had China build upgrade

2) We send many kenyans to China

Now as you speak Kenyans are running and operating SGR - and Kenyans have revamped the old railway line (MGR) without any china help.
