But Bernardo Silva has cracked him!!! Man City 1-0 up Super deservedly!!! Madrid haven't left their half for several minutes now leading up to that goal.

TheSuperNerd:
Thibaut Courtois is bringing up his "2022 UCL Final form" in this game. Damn!!! How did he keep out Haaland's header there?

That's twice now he has kept out Haaland.

The Treble Dream is indeed Alive for Manchester City.

Bernardo Silva having a Masterclass First half in front of goal.

Manchester City delivering a tactical demolition job so far.

In the 2016/17 season, I remember watching Bernardo Silva alongside an 18 y/o Kylian Mbappe at Monaco knock out Man City in the Round of 16 of the UCL after a thrilling 6-6 affair. Monaco went through on Away goals (3-1 win in France, 5-3 loss in England).

Now here he is again, Bernardo Silva, not against Man City but doing it in their favour, with his goals having them 3-1 up on aggregate vs Reigning Champs/Europe's Biggest side, Real Madrid and just 45 mins away from another UCL final.

Time.

The Level of this First Half Dominance by Man City.

Let's hope Madrid don't embark on their iconic "back from the dead" comebacks in the second half. Lol

Can't believe what I'm seeing.

Real are getting schooled by Man city they are becoming clueless, don't know what to do.

If not for the Real goal 🥅 keeper it would be all OVER.

Camavinga yellow card Grealish out skilled him

Oh my goodness GOAL 🥅 GOAL 🥅

3-0

That Third goal (Militao Own goal) is akin to Thanos (Man City) telling Loki (Real Madrid):

"NO RESURRECTION THIS TIME"

Meanwhile Erling Haaland missing 3 big chances in such a big game is quite uncharacterisic of the Goals Machine.
He is City's Biggest Goal threat but thankfully this isn't a team who can't score just because Haaland doesn't.

Not His Night.

MANCHESTER CITY 4-0 REAL MADRID.

THIS IS HOW YOU ANNOUNCE YOUR BID TO TAKE OVER THE CROWN AS EUROPE'S NEXT KING.

Damn!!! Biggest clubside on the planet being reduced to dust by England's Back to back to Back Champs-in-waiting.

Pep (one of my top favourite coaches/tactical minds of all time) destroying another of my favorite tacticians/coaches of all time and have beaten a couple of others (a few in my list of favs) along the way.

Chuba Akpom and Middlesbrough fell 1-0 at home to Coventry to lose out on a ticket to Wembley.

Coventry and Luton Town will battle in the EFL/Skybet Championship Playoff final for a promotion ticket to the EPL.

What a story. Sad for Akpom. Sad for Coach Michael Carrick.

All the listed above players were picked and played in the Olympics 2020
I never mentioned any player that wasn’t selected.
