Fuel is not cheap anywhere in the world but I feel this one na unforced error. Hopefully they can manage the fallout better, if not it will define how the administration will turn out.

No cause for alarm. Títa ríro là ń Kọ́lá.

It’s also crazy paying marketers billions to subsidise fuel… I worked in a private oil company one time… those guys na crooks

.....they are abound on this thread and its kinda so annoying. Election is over, PMB is gone for good. We should all join hands together and hope for a new, prosperous Nation, instead of hunting for bad News up and down.

Other policies are as well announced, they are not discussing it like they are valueless. Habaaa!!

Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has hit the ground running by declaring his economic recovery roadmap with;

— declaration of end of fuel subsidy

— reintroduction of commodity board

— immediate mandate on the CBN on the achievement of a Unified Exchange Rate and assured house cleaning at the CBN

— re-evaluation of the high interest rates that is anti-investment

— focus on infrastructural development to facilitate job creation

— exponential effort on electricity generation, transmission and distribution with the participation of state governments.

— holistic review of all anti-investment and multiple taxation policies.

— immediate facilitation of repatriation of investment and profits.

— Agricultural Revolution and the full implementation of the “Agbado Policy”

I said I’ll ignore Nigeria matter for now but we all have loved ones there and we have to hope it works.

I’ve been talking to two siblings and their dad (my uncle sort of) for years now… and they are all excited to japa here when they finish school. One is done with studies and the other completing NYSC… I just got a text this morning before work that the dad slumped and died in the middle of the market…. With millions in account, no Nigerian could give CPR, no ambulance or emergency…, they left him hours till the kids came to pick his body up.
The picture fuckd up my day, can’t even call the brothers… Naija gats work and we need proven leaders not sweet talks and shiit

The problem isn't about removal of subsidy but the fact that Nigerians don't trust the government to re-channel the fund elsewhere that will be of benefit to us all.

Ordinary Nigerians did not complain about the subsidy because it's just about the only thing they benefitted from the government.

Nigeria can not afford another 4-8 years of excuses for failure. There will be no hesitation in giving it to him hot..

Conversely, I will praise and stan him to the highest heavens if he succeeds and so should everyone!

Tinubu should not have announced the end of fuel subsidy in his inaugural address, that announcement is what has cause filling station to stop selling fuel so they can rip Nigerians off as usual. He was not well adviced on this one at all, this is surely not a good way to start your reign as President.
