I said I’ll ignore Nigeria matter for now but we all have loved ones there and we have to hope it works.

I’ve been talking to two siblings and their dad (my uncle sort of) for years now… and they are all excited to japa here when they finish school. One is done with studies and the other completing NYSC… I just got a text this morning before work that the dad slumped and died in the middle of the market…. With millions in account, no Nigerian could give CPR, no ambulance or emergency…, they left him hours till the kids came to pick his body up.

The problem isn't about removal of subsidy but the fact that Nigerians don't truth the government to re-channel the fund elsewhere that will be of benefit to us all.

Ordinary Nigerians did not complain about the subsidy because it's just about the only think they benefitted from the government.
