So I take this to be a positive news, like congrats you passed the interview but there are a few more things we want to check.

So when do they communicate the final decision on one's registration?
Re: COREN Registration Thread by OjogbonSkilash: 7:32pm On Jun 09, 2023
Please, people of God. Must my boss in the office be one of my proposers? Also, is there anything like letter of attestation?
Re: COREN Registration Thread by OjogbonSkilash: 8:49pm On Jun 09, 2023
My person that's meant to assist to sign the proposers' form brought to my notice that after the two proposers have signed, my boss at office must compulsorily put his stamp too. He said this boss must also be the one to sign my work experience form and must compulsorily be up to date in coren dues payment.
Please, how true is this bcs the information is disrupting my plans aiidy. People that have passed that stage, kindly shed light.

I disagree. What if your boss is not a registered engineer? What is important is that it has to be a registered engineer, so it can be a vendor that has worked with you on an engineering project in that company, as long as he can vouch for your capability as an engineer in training. COREN is interested in you and your engineering experience that can be verified by an already registered engineer.

Must the registered engineer or my boss be updated in coren dues too? I used to think only proposers are mandated to be up to date in payment of dues

Anyone signing or stamping anything for you must be up to date in payment ooo. That's what is considered a registered engineer... Gone through the process and Up to date in payment of dues.

Long write fa!

Just get to the registration portal and fill your details. Have your proposers registration numbers handy (don't know for sure what may happen if at this stage if your proposer is not up to date but it at least knows in correct numbers). Note: unless you have people that are engineers that are up to date with dues, you will have to pay registered engineers to do this for you. Depending on if you found the person yourself or through someone that determines the cost.
Upload relevant documents
Follow the payment link to remitta to make payment 85k
After this the process of approving for interviews begins with your proposers confirming you and COREN vetting your application
I'm beginning to feel like the exam is written only in Abuja now, since that's the trend so far this year as far as I can tell (so depending on your location budget flight fare, and lodging depending on your line of engineering and how early you get to the venue - civil, mech and elect sure have lots of people)
5k registration fee can be paid through the portal or come to venue with cash (your choice, but if you are doing cash, there's an extra 500 charge, guessing for lodging it into COREN's account, I didn't bother to ask - your maybe scoped to do something for the boys but totally optional)
Based on the few questions I got from those who did before that I used to prepare and the questions I met, I'll say prepare for the exam knowing your strength... If you are not the academic type you will find questions that call for your everyday engineering experience or exposure.
Then you wait to be approved after which you pay the 63k registration.

Depending on your location and accessibility to registered engineers it's a 150k - about 500k project there about.

Still beats me though, why proposer forms are relevant if they still need to approve you from their portal.

Thank you bro.
Please, is it mandatory to fill fields like mailing address? I don't have one. Also, the passport photograph.

Use residential or office address is what I'll advice. I didn't leave any field other than registration number, so I can't tell what may happen if any of those are left blank. I also found it funny that I have a profile with my passport already, why do I then need to put passport again but I put it anyway.

I've registered since May and my profile is still saying awaiting admin action. What's happening? Besides, when is the next batch of COREN examination? Thanks.
