Is it okay for that person to quickly Travel out of the UK and back, even before getting shifts? (This Person already received the BRP card upon arrival in the UK). Got empty NSF- 2nd June- I presume they needed to authenticate my IELTS result cos i couldnt wait for the hard copy from the British council as it too long after mutiple calls and mails to them so instead i cropped the result from there site and attached a cover letter to explain my reason

Visa approved on the 15th exactly a month after

Got decision mail today 18th June

I think they are about to scam you. There has been an influx of care workers in the UK and not do they not offer CoS anymore. They rotate the jobs between agencies and caregivers working under agencies don't even get to work every week. The pay have even been reduced the from about £23/hr or more to £10.5 - £14/hr. Though few agencies pay up to £15- 20/hr but it's difficult to get jobs in such agencies.

I have already stated the obvious truth to our people here but it seems we like deception , some people were even calling me names self but It time wasting on my side for such silly engagement. .
Direct abroad recruitment for care job in UK is almost getting to its end ,people should seek alternatives route but it seems we want to open ourselves for scammer that will collect 12M from you and get you down to UK with no shifts on ground to give you.
From what i have personally witness , there are more than hundreds of innocent nigerian that were already stranded in uk right as they fall victim to such scams and with little or no shifts from their so called sponsors .And I am sure you should have a guess on how horrendous and awful it can be for someone to be living in uk with no daily income coming to you ,infact present naija situation right will be like paradise in comparison.
There are still lot of nigerian student and dependent already in uk with verifiable care experience that also looking for same sponsorship opportunities with no luck just to know you know how competitive it is becoming unlike before.
even the few reputable organizations that can give sponsorship will prefer to give sponsorship for people that already working with them and most them will not even advertise that they have license to sponsor ,you have must worked with them for up to 6 months and have passed your probation period before you get such offer.
Uk experience matters alot to employer if you much know, with that in mind now tell me how will a potential employer now leave those in uk to give it to people abroad when you have enough peope on ground t? it simple common sense na unless there is more to it.
care sponsorships from abroad Is not something that easy that falls on people lap like before , the recuitment is getting to its saturated point already , so don't fall victim to hungry scammers .
And for those people still searching from naija ,I wish you goodluck, there is no harm in trying but shine your eyes o and why not dissipate your energy to other route as this particular route don caste already .

@Threeo @MsLane @Nwokiwu90 it’s 8weeks here also and it’s always patience and patience but I don’t think they are doing anything about it, what could really be the issue

Typically, before you can be issued a certificate of sponsorship (COS) by your potential employer. You must have been offered employment in the UK which meets the minimum pay for immigrants.

On accepting the offer, you go through some screening which varies amongst employers. Every employer/organization have specific onboarding activities which varies from background checks, filling of forms, signing some agreements etc.

You are expected to also have prove your knowledge of English language, TB test results (All this have been stated in the first post).

Once you submit all the necessary documents to your employer, they will start processing your COS. You don't have to do anything else but wait patiently till they send it to you. Once you receive the COS, you quote the COS ref number on your visa application.

I don't know why someone would pay huge amounts of money to British Council for an English test, for a visa application, and they would choose to delay and frustrate the person, even when they claim they could deliver in few days!😡
