AsomughaChuks05: LOL....and that somehow proves Obi is corrupt? I am not obident, but sometimes you Tinubuites make me laugh. So that means that the cleaners that work in Ibori;s offices are all corrupt too? If we applied your standards, a lot of Nigerians are somehow corrupt because they 'work for a corrupt person'. Ok o. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ironically, Nuhu Ribadu is now the NSA, and Ibori appear to be a close ally of President Tinubu. Will the president allow prosecution of his friend if Ribadu choose to revisit the bribe case? 1 Like |

Patrioticman007: Don’t mind these ignorant Nigerians. There was a case of a “missing” $2.8b from NNPC where some officials of the NNPC moved the money to an account and collected the interest and then moved the money back after allegedly collecting the interest. But 1) it had nothing to do with Umaru Dikko 2) it happened during the military govt of Obasanjo while Buhari was petroleum minister aand before Shagari and Umaru Dikko ascended power. The fact that the money was “moved” to collect the interest and “returned” not “stolen” tells anyone how difficult it was to steal that sort of money in those days. In those days if you stole $1m you are a big thief. Most of the governors and ministers Buhari locked up in 1984, their crimes were. Less than $1m, 100k, 200k etc and in many cases it wasn’t “personal stealing” it was diversion to party. People like Bola Ige and Ambrose Alli. That has always been standard practice in Nigerian politics. Even Awo was convicted of diverting Western region funds to AG in the ‘60s. The $2.8b was the subject of Fela’s song “Army Arrangement” “ Two-point-eight-billion naira Oil money is missing Two-point-eight-billion naira Oil money is missing Them set up inquiry Them say money no lost e oh Them dabaru everybody Supervisor Obasanjo Them say make him no talk e oh "Money no lost," them shout again Inquiry come close e oh E no finish, e no finish, e no finish, e no finish, e no finish, e no finish” Nothing to do with Umaru Dikko, in fact I remmember Dikko was living almost in penury after he left govt. 3 Likes |

Now that he is a VERY good friend to the President, a VERY good one for that matter, he would report Ribadu to Tinubu and ask that his $15m be refunded to him. Trust me, Tinubu would gladly oblige that request. |

xxolisexx: Just imagine what is going on in the minds of the UK Crown Court Judge that jailed Ibori after seeing this picture?? Imagine the perception of the UK justice secretary about Nigeria when he sees the newly elected President, receiving the former convict in the presidential villa. Our moral standard is terribly low in this country. 3 Likes 1 Share |
