I am currently in Ibadan, and i hope to use the train by 4pm to Lagos.

The train will leave Ibadan, stop at Abeokuta, stop at Agege and finally stops at Yaba.

2 stopovers and it will reach Yaba in 2 hours, 30 minutes.

If i give you 2020 GLK, you cannot go to Abeokuta, Agege and get to Yaba in 2 hours, 30 minutes..

Unless you want Obi to suggest Private jets to convey fruits, rail transport is faster and cost effective

..Ọrẹ, My Grandpa was a Farmer/Trader, a Colanuts Trader precisely and he sold to the North. He moved his products by rail from Osogbo [8am on Monday] and would reach Kano by 2pm on Wednesday.

They would have atleast 4-5 Stopovers and spent nothing less down 30mins at each Stopover. I do not need to check Google bro, coz I listened to real life stories from Grandpa.

If our Truck [13tons] moved from Ibadan by 11am, they would reach Abuja by 8am the following Morning.

A train would probably stop in 4 different cities, discharge and carry goods, and still get to Abuja in that same time; Something your truck won't do.

The stopover for trains is to discharge passengers or pick new ones.

The Ibadan train would stop at Abeokuta to drop and pick passengers, not to eat.

It would do the same at Agege too.

If you use a bus to do the exact same thing, it cannot get to Yaba in 2 hours, 30 minutes.
