My A5pro just went dead, won't charge and won't power-on, over a week now on charger but still no change. it's Follow-come charger is still working on other phones. What could be wrong and any possible solution?

A game(Minecraft) was installed on it 4 days earlier, and it's the second phone(Infinix note2) that went limp after the same game was installed.

Pls any hope for this baby? It was running smoothly for straight 4+ years, never an issue

Not all mobile applications are compatible with android devices. Hence, one needs to be careful with what app one installs on such devices.

Try this fix:
In that dead state ( you could removed the battery), connect the phone to a pc. If you hear a sound from the pc, indicating that a device is connected, then the phone is still alive. You may have to change the battery or reload the OS

On the other hand, if there is dead silence from the computer when the phone is connected, that means the phone panel (motherboard) is dead and needs replacement.

Contact your engineer for final solution.

Good evening. I need help with my umidigi A13pro. It started overheating and it stopped working. I went to an engineer to help me fix it in my city he said it’s a backlight issue and less than two weeks after fixing it, it went off again and it’s not coming on. I went back to him to help me fix it and he said he’s been searching for the parts all to no avail. What could be the issue?

Thank you Babalegba for your comments. I still can't understand why people are so impatient! I was offline just within the space of 20 mins because I was in motion, but all he had to do was come here and start blackmailing. I'd already engaged him in a series of chats about his item thereafter, not knowing that he'd come to nairaland to tell everybody. When I saw the negative comments, I called his attention to it and he apologized and promised to edit it.

The person, @xristos, who commented before you is in a better position to tell him who I am. Despite the fact that he's based in Abuja,and I in Lagos, I've had a smooth biz deal with him.

You can upgrage your Umidigi A11 Promax to Android 13 ( Tiramisu) unofficially. The Android 13 custom ROM is running smoothly on the device ,even smoother than the stock ROM.
The only condition for installation is that you must be a computer literate with the knowledge of ADB and FASTBOOT.

The constant restart/bootloop could be as a result of OS corruption or installation of incompatible apk.

First off, when attempting to solve the problem, are you sure you flashed the phone with the right/factory-made firmware downloaded from Umidigi official website? Note that Umidigi company doesn't support firmware from third-party sites.

Secondly, which tool did you use for the flashing? Though there are a couple of flashing tools available out there, Umidigi recommends the use of SP Flashtools only to solve any problem of such on their MTK chipset.
