Last year, BUAFoods listed 80 billions ordinary shares at a unit price of 40 Naira. Presently BUAFoods is trading at N171

In a few years from now , DangFoods can sell as high as 500 Naira if everything goes as planned. The population is expanding and food will always remain a constant necessity.

DangFoods will enjoy economies of scale, forward and backward integration. The future is golden for the company

The big boys are not buying for now , they are buying for the future. Institutional investors will continue to mop up Dangsugar till Alhaji pulls the plug . E get why

My friend, relax. Your whole philosophy is based on the fictional position that Dangote will maintain, as if you know what is going on in his mind or all of his moves. That is not a concrete reason. A few years ago, I played the same game with Mansard and lost almost half of my money when it was restructured. After two years, I am still down 24%, even after riding the recent boom. I am not saying it will be the same with Dangote, but my point is that nothing is certain. Forget the pumping. LOL
Lol ... No worries, we will revisit the topic when the cat finally out of the bag.

In a few years, DangoteFood may have a serious contender. The market is open and anything can happen. Some FDI may come in and change the game. Dangote may retire and not be so involved in the business. In a country like Nigeria with its immense opportunities and disadvantages, looking ahead beyond 5 years is a dangerous play. Make your money and move on to the next opportunity, because nothing is certain. If it gets to 500 naira, we can get back in before it happens. It won't happen overnight, right? LOL

when Q2 came with unexpected loss.. I advice a friend with 1m unit of DS to hold on with his stock, that it look like a trap to sell off his holding because noting affected the operational earnings/cash of the company. the loss was just from forex loss. unfortunately he scared about the N90b negative and sold all the 1m unit @ N27 with gain @ 82%.. rest is the story now

I know some of the member here might have fallen into such situation embarassed. don't worry, just learn from your mistake... plenty opportunity day ahead.

MANSARD back then did shares reconstruction to meet NAICOM regulatory requirements on paid-up capital. Nothing much to excite investors

But with DANGOTE FOODS, it is the mergers and birth of a bigger company with economies of scale. Bigger, better and stronger. This will excite investors.

Firstly , it is quite funny that you are comparing Dangote Group , the MOST VALUABLE BRAND IN NIGERIA 2023 ,to Mansard. Some people will laugh at that comparison.

Secondly , some of us don't buy because of today , we buy into the future. I've been mopping Dangsugar since when it was 5 Naira.

As regards the 5 years plan and unforeseeable future. Dangote Group is in good hands, I don't need to say much on that. And yes, no company is too big too fail.

Lastly, it is very good to book profit when you have made decent gain. Trading with caution is also smart trading , so I agree with some of you points.

That is why I preach due diligence and I always say my post are not for recommendations

Shalom428:
What is the book value of Geregu and BUAFOODS? What is happening and what is going to happen to Dangote Foods transcends Book Value. A lot of power play is going on. Dangote Food is the best bet for Alhaji to consolidate and retain his position as the richest black man

As far as cement is concerned, the new administration's favourite is WAPCO . Dangote refinery might not become fully operational in some months to come, so Alhaji's surest way to retain is Richest Black Man Alive position and consolidate it, is through DangFoods

BUAFOODS with EPS of 5.29 and dividends of 4.5 is trading at 165 , and the fear of Dangfoods might even make Rabiu push it higher ... Is 165 a fair value of BUAFOODS? If BUAFOODS trades at fair value , I bet the current Forbes ranking of RABIU will drop.

A silent healthy rivalry is going on between Alhaji and Rabiu. These billionaires silently fight for market leader ( Share price and Capitalisation ), Rabiu has been the leader in that space for a while now , and I strongly believe Alhaji is coming with DangFoods to Leapfrog him.

Will Rabiu give you up the position easily ? The answer is No! The more Rabiu fights back by pumping , the more Alhaji intervenes and the more the PATIENT INVESTORS smile to the bank. A lot of profit taking will happen along the way but DangFoods will definitely make the PATIENT ONES SMILE.

Putting Book Value , Market Value , Fair Value and whatever values aside, DangFoods is a stock any long term discerning investors should have in his or her portfolio. Food will forever be a constant necessity and the population is projected to increase geometrically in a few years time. DangFoods will surely dominate the industry with economies of scale . The forward and backward integration is projected to be fantastic. I won't be surprised if DangFoods sells at 500 or more in five years from now.

As for Transcorp ... I will not hit the sell button now. I expect Tony to continue to bag the good deals. Every administration has favourites. When other billionaires were lobbying to see PBAT after he was declared winner of the election , the President went to Tony's house to thank him specially and personally. E get why .

This is not a Buy / Hold / Sell Recommendations.

You can get 16%, rates are expected to go up. The guy who sold 550,000 units of Dangote Sugar shares today can get about N4.5 million for the next 20 to 25 years at N2.25 million every 6 months.

If he divides into 2 and buys March and June FGN bond.

He will be getting N1.25 million every March, June, September and December for the next 25 years which can then be reinvested into stocks, business, real estate, dollar denominated investments etc

Being rigid with your price will always put one in trouble, what is the difference between N32 and N33.

Yes o We cant thank @onegentleguy enough for this (GSK). I personally bought over 2 million units at an average price 0f 6.40, i commend myself also for been patient and holding on for over 18months. Discipline is key sometimes in this stock's world. Cant wait to see what the offer will be for GSK. The excitement today might be hinting some announcement might be around the conrner.

Also make i use this opportunity to thank @currentprice and Madam @Mcy also for pointing out DangSugar. You guys are too much
