Why do you think when "mental patient" or "diagnosis" is mentioned anywhere in the Eurosoccer section - even in passing or as part of a quoted text - everyone knows who is being referred to immediately?

Only one name comes to mind.

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a substantive and extended phone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in which issues concerning a deepening collaboration across sectors were discussed.

The Heads of State mutually agreed that the promotion and protection of constitutional democratic governance on the African continent must be a top priority between their two countries and globally.

The two leaders discussed deepening investments in Nigeria in the sub-sector of Agro-processing and the need for greater support of older democracies in undergirding younger democracies in Africa in the fight against terrorism and poverty.

The Nigerian leader encouraged the Canadian leader to facilitate enhanced military cooperation while acknowledging the key contributions that Nigerians continue to make toward Canada’s economic development and public sector leadership.

His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also shared views with his Canadian counterpart with respect to the crisis in Niger Republic and the unfolding situation in Gabon.

You are conflating issues and for the sake of the reading public I will clarify my stand on this matter.

I do not blame the west for the woes of African nations post independence. I personally believe the west underdeveloped Africa during colonial rule and thereafter fellow Africans who happened to be our greedy political class took off from where they (the colonial masters) stopped.

At least we've seen the disappointment African countries ruled by Africans for decades have turned out to be. However, what I condemn is the hypocrisy the West shows when Africans that have been oppressed by fellow Africans(without the interference of the west) decide to treat their African problem the African way. Now at that point u see the voice of the West talking about democracy in Africa is not negotiable even when democracy has not helped those people for a while now.

If the west can keep quite when the going gets tough, good or worse, I wont have any issues with their stand on African matters.

You go explain tire, no evidence

You just blamed West for calling Naija election credible despite Mama Chinedu being beaten

Shey we were here when Tinubu was attacking EU for saying the opposite?

I am delighted to announce that the long-awaited Blue Line Rail will begin commercial operations on Monday September 4, 2023 from Marina to Mile 2 as we put Lagos on Track.

Join me at 9am at Marina Station as we become the first passengers of this important project that will make daily commute easier for a lot of our residents.

From Tuesday, partial passenger operations will begin from 6:30-10am and afternoon peak from 4-9:30pm.

We're starting with 12 trips for 2 weeks, ramping up to 76 trips/day and you would be able to board the train using your Lagos Cowry Card.

This is the people's project and everyone will enjoy its world-class services. The Blue Line Rail is one of the rail projects designed to make Lagos a fully interconnected city and it will transform our city's transport system.

There are over 300 CCTV cameras across the entire rail with over 30 cameras monitoring the tracks alone, with command and control centers available in all stations along the track.

Lagos, this is your project. Take ownership and treat it with decency as you would treat anything that belongs to you. Any altercation or disturbance on the train will NOT be tolerated. It goes without saying that vandalism also will NOT be tolerated.

We remain committed to transforming every area of our great state.

- Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu

No that's not what we mean
They have no right to say the election was free and fair
They didn't observe the whole country, there were complaints yet they turn blind eyes to them
If anything happens tomorrow they will want to help, what kind of help is that when they assisted the problem in the beginning

Anything West is redmeat for Africans. If someone snatch your girlfriend by the time you add one bogeyman West to it you find justification for it

I wonder why Pastor Taribo sef gree answer that "Evil" surname.

A country like USA for example have influence over 200 countries, We sometimes overrate ourselves to think say na African matter or Nigeria go dey keep Biden, Trump or any Western leader up at night.

Hutu and Tutsi carry machete dey butcher each other na France dem blame for not intervening earlier and stopping cousins from killing themselves. CFA Franc was at some point perceived to be a tool for the French neocolonial subjugation over 8 of her West African and 6 Central African colonies.

14 of these colonies who used CFA Francs were required to store 50% of their currency reserves with the Banque de France, and the currencies were attached to the euro.

Depending on the narrative you choose to believe, the French explained that this arrangement was aimed at shielding those colonies that issued their own currencies from the horrible effects of price inflation. To these colonies, however, it was believed to be a “neocolonial tax”, a brake on economic growth and a spit on their sovereignties.

No be today this thing play out.

It will be foolish for someone like me to fuel anti-west sentiments after seeing what played out in Cote D'Ivoire. If the West are my oppressors after what i can discern with my own mind in Cote D'Ivoire then i prefer this my oppressors for life.

Lauren Gbagbo was busy running Cote D'Ivoire to the ground while championing the cause of anti-west sentiments to mask for his incompetency and accountability.

This man told his security forces that their money was not in the office but on the street grin. This made Policemen in Cote d'ivore acted with much impunity and went after every perceived black foreigners to the delight of this same Gbagbo that was championing the cause of Anti-colonialist. Hypocrisy 101.

Yoruba people became the most targeted foreign group because we control much of their informal sector after the Lebanese. Yoruba merchants couldn't walk around with money in peace and couldn't move in peace without being harrased, extorted and brutalised by this Police force. Even some Northern ivorians who were perceived to belong to some ethnic group from Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 weren't spared from Police harassment and brutality.

Meanwhile the country's infrastructure continue to deteriorate under Gbagbo. Abidjan that use to be called Petit Paris was now a shadow of its formal self now looking like Ibadan with make-up, with streets overflowing with human excreta from manholes. The waste management board almost became non-existence. Roads also became very bad all through out the country. Traffic lights and street stopped working.Insecurity became the order of the day. Every legacy of Felix Houph,Konan Bedie were almost left to ruin by Gbagbo whose concern for being the president was to take the only country from imperialist while neglecting every facet of government that improves lives.

He used the anti-west agenda to campaign every opposition most especially Alhassane Ouattara who he called a French puppet that he belongs to the illuminati cult, called him gay that his Israel wife was just a cover-up to foster their agenda😁 . Telling his citizen that Ouattara wants to sell the country to the French and Israel 🇮🇱.

Now Alhassane Ouattara has become the president he has destroyed the myth that the West is our oppressor but our greedy leaders who don't want to face accountability. This man has got the country moving in the right direction. The economic is now back on track with steady increase in the gdp.

Alhassane Ouattara the French puppet has connected more people to the national grid since he became the president. Any community with 200+ resident will just write to the district assembly and get them connected.

This French puppet that wants to sell us to the West has returned the security forces back to their forces while no black foreigners are being targeted by the police for extortion, harassment and brutality.

Alhassane Ouattara has fixed all the major broken roads and most of the minor ones if not all. This man has constructed new roads even in the most remote areas of the country, difficult terrains, inside thick rain forest, cocoa region you will see the roads constructed by Alhassane Ouattara there. I mean high quality roads that ranks Cote D'Ivoire having the 4th best quality of roads in Africa. Stupid giant of Africa haven't finished 2nd second Niger bridge and Alhassane is about to complete the 4th bridge of about 7.2km with about half of it on water in no time.

This same French puppet has revived the country's port making it one of the best if not the best in West Africa. Open the country to foreign investors with ease of doing business.Almost about going absolute digital in the government sector. The waste management now works 24/7. No manhole overflowing with human faces again. Used his influence to make the headquarter of BAD to remain in Abidjan rather than going to Tunisia. Constructed new markets, housing, hospitals, stadiums, schools, both basis and tertiary with the country almost having a 90% literacy rate and griffon is saying i shouldn't be in ❤️ with a French puppet or West? Is he playing?

The achievements of Alhassane Ouattara can't be overemphasised and his achievements makes every Nigerian president from Obasanjo till dates look like a joke to me.

Na their style be that. This particular family the Julio-Claudian was notorious for convoluted marriages and family connections. I think the root problem was that Caesar Augustus (the Gaius of this story) had no sons so many of the marriages were to strengthen the family’s precarious hold on power.

An example is Julia who was initially Tiberius' stepsister, then stepmother-in-law, and then wife. If you don’t have computer you can’t follow the relationships. You need to draw a family forest not family tree. grin
