Maybe he was saying all these to himself alone, and it wasn't him actively marketing Buhari to people.

Which is funny enough very through. grin
Because I didn't actually sell him to anyone but myself. This is what was told to us which we believed but you still don't see me convincing others about this. grin

Come on! You all have seen my vociferous support for Obi, do you believe that if it was so for Buhari, there really wouldn't be evidence in my 15 years on this platform?

Donjazet2:

Obi handed all missionary schools back to churches'management for effective management but still provided resources and requipping of all of them plus increasing and prompt payment of teachers salary for better education.

2. I campaigned and voted for buhari because I believed that as a former military general, he would be better equipped to handle the insecurity issue and that he wouldn't be easily controlled by the Cabal. I also believed he would fight corruption based on his work in ptf. But he failed woefully!!

If history pointed that Don j's vehemently supported Buhari even when he was on the wrong side then I call it stupidity hypocrisy to criticise anyone supporting BAT's inhumane decisions(weda tribalism or hope).

I quoted you cos it seems you created the platform for anyone to have a say on the issue..

Don't be surprised if he comes back tomorrow to say he wasn't a strong supporter of Obi that he only wanted power to shift to a new platform

Again, an exaggeration from me at best.
Can you provide a single evidence of me actually "campaigning".

Please it's highly important not to lose sight of the aim and basis of this entire argument.

It's a fact that I voted for the APC before, the bone of contention is to what degree I actually supported them that will make me vote for them that warrants my present condemnation of the party now.

To which I am stressing the point that in as much as I did vote for them (voting against the opponent 2019 etc), I wasn't necessarily a very big fan of them but I saw the implications of a victory of them. I was moved towards support of the underdog as usual.

Except, I didn't. Throughout Buhari's tenure, I have barely ever outrightly defended him. Yes I voted for him over PDP after I bought their narratives of being the solution but when I saw that their policies have failed spectacularly, what I didn't do was double down on that support and outrightly sell my conscience for whatever. My electoral decisions have been guided on what I always felt was the best decision for our democracy and our country. Unlike people who consider tribe and material selfish motivations. If I was moved by those, Jonathan would have been my defacto choice over Buhari. The corruption and insecurity rampant were sever enough for people to embrace what was basically the first ever strong opposition to the giant called PDP and the first real chance of a stronger democracy.

That's why headed back to 2015 polls, APC still remains the firm choice, because they gave we the obidients the prelude to how we can bring down a ruling party. If APC failed to win PDP then, there would be no opposition today. These were the factors I considered but I repeat, that I voted for APC doesn't mean I set up a mean defense for them even when they blatantly failed.
I voted Buhari cos I taught there definitely would be a positive change in what we were experiencing, just as I am hopping for Obi's manifesto.

I was glad and told people about the positivity of it when there was communication regarding the refineries

It took long to realised that we were heading yo destruction just cos I had "hope".....

Thanks for being a singular voice of reason. I know it can be hard.

I have clearly made sooo many enemies such that whatever point I make must be met with serious agenda whether right or wrong. But we power on. grin

Your post encapsulates my position well.

Remember, no evidence presented yet to attest to me being a "strong supporter of Buhari".

Not me defending the APC.
Not me selling Buhari to anyone.

But there is;
Evidence of me criticizing the APC numerously.
Evidence of me criticizing very strongly those that continue to support the APC.

If I campaigned for Buhari, those posts will have flooded here by now.

NO EVIDENCE!
Yes, I voted for Buhari\APC.
NO I wasn't a "very strong supporter" of Buhari\APC.

Same Donjazet in August 2022 confessing right on this thread.

Just look at this picture you have posted and tell me how "these achievements" have benefited YOU as an individual?

I know how ashamed and apologetic I continue to be to everyone around me for trying to convince them to vote APC years ago.

I am deeply ashamed of my earlier affinity to APC
because I can SEE and FEEL the failure of this bad government. Am I not supposed to be sorrowful for supporting this failure of a government?

He already admitted he was convincing people to vote for the APC (Buhari) years ago (outright campaigning which is more than "mere support" ) but here he is denying all over again.

Dementia or barefaced shamelessness?

Buhari then was a fresh hope...I was active in d game then, that I did my part despite being a crime (regrets.πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯ )

My taught, hope and totality was how can we be so rich and yet so poor..

A drastic change was needed and I suscribed to "change" but was not afraid of the uncertainty surrounding it...

Atleast,it won't be worse than Jonathan's PDP...I was wrong...so wrong...

Rewinding time would be ideal to kiss change a big goodbye.

He campaigned to himself and agreed with himself about Buhari.

He just felt the unprompted need to announce regularly how he campaigned dor Buhari in 2 elections, how he was the strongest buhari supporter, etc.

Hyp, hyp, away!!!!
