Menclothing:Continue telling yourselves this lies to defend your thieving politicians. Politicians who have security votes that run into millions of naira every month with no accountability are saints compared to career civil servants who need the signature of politicians before they can get money abi. |

Timoleon: yes, its 2 things that will happen when the military take over (1) the cost of governance will be reduced - 20 Supreme Military Council Members as legislative arm - COMPARED to 109 senators AND 435 House of Reps members collecting insane "TOKENS" and "PRAYERS" every given opportunity so you can not compare 20 Military Legislooters to 544 Civilian Legislooters (2) there will be security - the military government abhors insecurity, not because they they love the country more than other Nigerians ' but simply because it puts their own survival on shaky grounds - if INSECURITY is allowed, it can lead to another coup or counter coup which ends the existing regime. More so, when insecurity thrives, they can mistake it for a coup attempt - to they do not tolerate it ..... and INSECURITY is the major reason why food prices are off the roof today, people can not go to farm due to herdsmen so please give us the MILITARY - it is the lesser evil - afterall - kidnaping will ends with offenders being tried quickly at special military tribunals and executed summarily so other would-be kidnappers will get the memo fast IF Nigeria today has security and people can buy food easily - who cares whoever occupies ASO ROCK? na who chop belleful and sleep well for night dey get power shout democracy oooooo - IF you know the hundreds of thousands of lives wasted under this democracy in Nigeria hennnn - compared to the Military era- you will know say democracy for naija na scam !!!! |

yemmit90: The looting that will take place under a military coup, will be extremely disastrous. It could cripple the economy. Abacha looters 8 Billion dollars wen the world did not even care about tracking billionaires in the world. Swiss bank was recently telling us that to release our money we would have to how the social projects to put the money into. 2 Likes |

CorperKola:Be deceiving yourself, why will Sani Abacha be in hurry to steal, when he had no plans of going anywhere? Which money did Abacha steal? What of Abdulsalam & Babaginda, how much was retrieved from them also? What of Obasanjo & Yaradua ITT (International Thief Thief) how much was recovered from them, it was only a dead Sani Abacha that stole money? Abacha did not even steal the money wasted on the House of Assembly last year. Money been used by Nigeria to trade in the 1990’s, to beat sanctions is now tagged Abacha’s loot, or you want the Federal Government to tell the west, that the money 💰 found Chaugory, Bagudu & Co in those accounts & others are actually owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria. So that the Oyibos will justify reason to confiscate the money? |

Most seniors civil servants have much more money than this. There is massive corruption in all sectors in the country. The police, military, civil service, etc. Jagaban has to tackle corruption earnestly. All governments accounts have to be audited regularly and thieves should be sanction. 1 Like |

CorperKola: must you insult in your response? why not counter my propositions with facts? are you so shallow minded that you must insult to eek out relevance? are you so rationally helpless that you cant entertain contrary opinion ? i really sympathize with you talking about facts - how much was crude oil sold when Abacha was in office ? was it more than $25 per barrel ? how much was it sold under civilian rule - taking the highs and lows - averaging $85 per barrel - what have we done with it in 24 solid years of democracy? Do not forget Nigeria was under heavy sanctions under ABACHA - we were even selling the oil at cheaper rate through unconventional (non OPEC) means yet, PTF (Petroleum Trust Fund) was busy constructing roads and building major infrastructures across the country without borrowing one kobo from anywhere - because no one will borrow money to a government under sanctions You can talk about Abacha loot now because he is no longer in Office - what about the $16 BILLION meant to give Nigerians light under PDP? What about the $100 Billion debt the APC has plunged Nigeria into since 2015 with nothing to show for it? na Abacha loot wey no reach $5 Billion in 5 whole years dey pain you.... The one our Senator alone have collected since 1999 is almost $75 Billion |
