Na religious sentiments colored with ignorance dey make Africans think either of the parties are any better than the other . Both states claim they own the disputed lands and they will go to any length to wipe the other out.

The support of the USA is unnecessary and only prolongs the conflict. The USA should be neutral and push for peace, even Obama was trying to do that around the end of his second mandate. Israel is strong enough military to defend itself. It is a nuclear power for crying out loud. USA bullying of any of Israel's enemies with legitimate grievances only makes the situation get worse and makes Israel believe in its total impunity.

Actually Crimea does not belong to Ukraine. It was transfered to them as part of Soviet Union in 1954 by Soviet Russia. Historically, Crimea was part of (RSFSR) Russia Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Ethnic Russians are majority in population. Over 65% of the population always voted "YES" in any poll/survey asking for reunification with Russian even before it was annexed in 2014.

The plan was Isreal on one side, the Arab (Palestine) on one side and Jerusalem will be a separated body under UN supervision and After 10 years a referendum will decide on which side the inhabitants of Jerusalem want to go.The Isreal authority accepted the plan even though some jews disagreed with their authority for accepting that plan but the Arab League rejected the plan entirely and attacked Israel unprovoked twice.

What happened to the Oslo Peace Accord? Palestine don't want peace with Israel. Right from primary school, they have started teaching their children to hate Jews. This kind of teaching will always fuel terrorism.

Jerusalem is non negotiable when it comes to any peace deal at the moment. Israel will not entertain any peace deal that involves Jerusalem.

Both Palestine and Israel are laying claim to Jerusalem. People should remember that before the Ottoman Empire and the British Empire there was the Roman Empire that conquered Jews in Jerusalem.
