The fact of the matter doesn't matter to some judges, they are all out for technicality not the fact of the matter. They only give validity to irregularity in calculation that brought Sule in as the winner of the election. What they are trying to say is, if you steal and you're not caught in the act, you're free to enjoy your loot. 1 Like |

garfield1:the question I'm asking is can the front loading still be done before it reaches the supreme court for final judgement.by the way ur political argument are mostly right kudos |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by IfnobeGod20: 2:22pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
MT:Judgements are always in two faces, the fact of the matter and the truth of the matter. The judges only dwell on the fact and not the truth. Someone erroneously added votes he didn't merit and because the witnesses were not front loaded, does that take away that wrong votes were added. What it meant is that a thief can continue thieving so far he is not caught in the act. This is more of technicality and it potent danger to the polity. No serious country run their affairs in such direction. 1 Like |

garfield1:It was a bad judgement. The truth of the matter was neglected. Should the governor now benefit from the added votes he never garnered? Except you're saying if a thief steals and he is not caught he should continue stealing. |

MightySparrow:Hope you didn't eat poo? "Law is based on technicalities". Please who taught you the quoted? Technicality is just the invention of some judges. Judgements are expected to be full and filled with justice. Any judgement void of justice is anti-people and has attendant repercussion. Please where is the justice when you reward a thief for thieving votes and added it to win election? Yes, the judge can expunged the witnesses not front loaded but he is still expected to dwell on the fact of the matter for justice sake and may later request for a rerun election by outrightly cancel the entire votes in those polling units for justice sake as to punish both candidates for the respondent not front loading and the petitioner thieving votes. 1 Like |

Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by Kukutenla: 2:49pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
IfnobeGod20:What does it even mean to frontload witness and how does that help the cause of justice? You have EC8 forms showing clearly that votes were not properly collated and tallied. You leave all those hard evidences and start dwelling on when and how witnesses were called. Mind you, the EA2022 gives as much value to documentary evidence as it gives to oral evidence. This frontloading issue is simply saying EA can go to hell. In fact, i can count how many times judgements have pooh-poohed the EA that was so celebrated just last year! You know the funny thing, if PDP lawyers had chosen not to call witnesses they'll accuse them of dumping evidence on the court when EA already removed the need for calling witnesses. You see how dishonest these judges are? |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by IfnobeGod20: 2:50pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Kukutenla:Front loading of witnesses is a judicial protocol as not to ambush the respondent. It is part of the law but that doesn't take away justice been served as the governor truly added votes he didn't scored. It is dangerous to look away from the thieving votes added to Sule's overall votes. |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by IfnobeGod20: 2:54pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Kukutenla:Front loading of witnesses is a judicial protocol as not to ambush the respondent but that doesn't stop justice been served in law. The governor cannot benefit from the votes theft, it amount to double standard to have allowed that. As it is now, judgement was served but justice not delivered. |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by Kukutenla: 2:55pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
IfnobeGod20:But not frontloading was never a ground to throw out a petition until this Obi and Atiku case. The respondents usually ask for more time to study the new witness statement if not frontloaded. All this talk of frontloading started after the presidential tribunal judgment |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by IfnobeGod20: 3:02pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Kukutenla:No no, it has always been there but due to APC mischievous wat they just resurrected it. It's a judicial standard as to checkmate ambushing respondents but just have said, it doesn't take away delivering justice on cases. |

Kukutenla:is it still possible to front load before the case is now taken to supreme court |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by Kukutenla: 3:24pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Osoboshi:No. Frontloading simply means to declare upfront the witnesses you intend to call before trial starts. The problem mostly is that subpoenaed witnesses usually are not willing to come to trial except mandated to by a subpoena. Whether subpoena can be obtained before trial starts though i can't say but I don't think that should be something to throw a substantive case away for if not that the judges are already biased |

Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by IfnobeGod20: 3:33pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Osoboshi:No, it is done before pretrial but that suppose not take away justice been served. The judges are just being clever by half by awarding judgement to Sule. Sule should not have benefited from the stolen votes he added to his overall votes. I read one comment here, that APC did not even pleaded for the expungement of the witnesses discountenance by the Appeal Court. Days to come we will surely hear the fact of this issue. If they didn't pleaded it, then, Appeal Court had scored own goal. |
Re: Nasarawa: Appeal Court voids tribunal decision, affirms APC's Gov Sule as winner by IfnobeGod20: 3:36pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Kukutenla:I think about 10 of Obi witnesses and about 15 Atiku witnesses were all thrown out because they were not front loaded before the pretrial began. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://punchng.com/breaking-court-rejects-10-out-of-13-witnesses-presented-by-obi/%3Famp&ved=2ahUKEwjMlNq0rNqCAxVBVEEAHRm3BmUQFnoECAoQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3VqdTADjnKz5cIHQs6eKVS https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://punchng.com/tribunal-rejects-15-witnesses-in-atiku-case-against-tinubu/%3Famp&ved=2ahUKEwjP_Z7crdqCAxUwUUEAHRagAN8QFnoECAsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3G9f-trmkvqKTP5MxVFnB_ |
