Mentioned my kids in her application
Uploaded historical family pictures
My baptism certificate and age declaration proving relationship (I dont have birth cert)
Invitation letter
Her bank statement
cover letter (explained serious large deposits)
Her pension documents and gratuity document
Permission from employer (she heads a school)
Her Current employment letter stating her salary (paid in cash) but no payslips and salary didn't show on her account only the pension. Infact she has irregular figures as she most times uses her acct for sch item purchases.
Her work ID
Her school pictures with her pupils
Her marriage cert and affidavit with my dad
Mentioned my dad's pension in her cover letter
Her leadership engagement letter
My house agreement letter
My evidence of permission to stay (vignettes and brps)
Our new baby baptism proof from church (email) and his british birth cert
My own marriage cert which she was a witness

I explained what she was coming to do (bring our kids since we cant travel, celebrate xmas with us and be present during our baby baptism in jan which is long over due) everything come spread reach 7 weeks stay lol.

Note:
*the money quoted she was going to spend in the uk is 14x her monthly income and if u subtract her quoted
monthly expenses from her quoted monthly income, it will be 22x her monthly savings.
*I didnt upload my bank statement
*I didnt forge any payslips just be sincere
*I forgot to mention my kids GWF in her letters to make it easier for the case worker
*Large questionable deposits
*I didnt upload any landed properties as ties (I think her job was enough)

Visa granted
I requested for help from the group but no one responded. I did my thing.
Hope this helps someone out there
✌️

Nice

Hi esteemed contributors,
I need your kind suggestions. Last year, my wife and I applied to have my parents visit us for our white wedding but it was rejected. My mum is currently working while my Dad is retired. Below is the rejection note.

--------------------------------------
REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0
You have applied for a visa to visit the UK. In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitorrules), I have considered: 
- your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it 
- your immigration history

The decision I have refused your application for a visit visa. I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 and V4.3 of Appendix V because:
- You state that you plan to visit the UK for 25 days for a family visit.
- You state that you are retired and that you have an income of Bleep NGN (£xx @ Oanda.com 27/09/2022) per annum.
- You have £Bleep in savings and plan to spend £1000 during your visit, which is eight times your monthly outgoings of 55,000 NGN (£119.07).
- In support of your application, you have provided a statement from Bleep Bank in the name of Bleep yyy (account number ending Bleep). However, this statement contains a number of unexplained transactions and I am unable to align these to the financial declarations in your application.

Because of this, I am unable to ascertain your financial circumstances in your country of residence.

Furthermore, since you have stated in your application that no one else is paying towards the cost of your visit, these figures do not satisfy me that you will be able to support yourself during your visit.

In addition to the above, you have also provided a letter from Bleep that states that she and her partner are inviting you to their wedding. However, from the documentation provided, I am unable to see any evidence of a booking for a wedding.

- Given the above, I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose under the visitor route, that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit or that you have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit without working or accessing public funds. Therefore, your application is refused under V4.2 (a), (c) and (e) of the Immigration Rules.
---------------------------------

Our situation has changed in that we are expecting baby and would again wish to invite them over to spend time with us and their grand child.

We are not sure what we can do differently and legitimately. Pls, What do we need to correct to improve to their approval chances.

NOTE: They both have enough funds in their individual accounts as well as joint accounts.

Ipanema:
Hi folks,
My application was refused because the the officer didn't read their own information...I had filled in monthly salary at 350knaira monthly and they mistook this for 350k annually.

My bank statement was also purposely kept clear of noise as I ensured it was only showing the 350k paid monthly by my employer and the 100k I take out monthly for my bills( I make sure I take out the 100k in one go as well, to avoid clutter).

No other ins or out in the salary account apart from salary in monthly and 100k out monthly, I left the residual valance every month in thr same account...so how they can then say the funds are unexplained is beyond me, as it states the company name that pays the money (same company I have identified as my employer on my application o)

They clearly had no issue with mu sponsor as my sister had written ans shown prove she'll pay my flight, accommodation and feeding...I have shown home ties with my kids, husband and work so these aspects are not an issue .

I am planning to reapply, as I believe this person reviewed in haste and didn't verify the information before them, my question is in my introduction letter do I address this as the first thing or write other aspect of the introduction before getting to this?
Ps: I did write a detailed introduction in my application, showed itinerary etc.

I Experienced similar error on my application last year and i reapply immediately and got my visa stamped whatapp me 08066793981

The highlighted reasons needs to be corrected, then reapply. But before giving any recommendations, the person who wants to assists has to see the bank statements submitted and the former application made. Then corrections can be made and explanations done in the cover letter.

1. Both should not apply together, one has to be the surety for the other.
2. Their financial profiles seem to be poor, are you able to fully sponsor this trip at least for the chosen grandparent to scale the affordability axe?

I didn't think their bank balance could be the problem. They have no less than £10,000 between them. Do you suggest this balance was not enough?

To give you more heads up, we presented our financial document as well as their bank statement to strengthen the application.

But I see they have concerns for
1. proposed spend amount: is there an acceptable amount they are expected to spend abroad vis a vis their spend in Nigeria?

2. unexplained transactions: regrettably, I didn't realise that I needed to explain the ins and outs involving my Dad's account.

3. sponsorship: can it make a difference if we sponsor them? If yes
3a. what spend limit should we fill for them
3b. what bank balance is acceptable as proof

4. proof of wedding: this was a terrible oversight and I regret it to this day.

Further inquiries
5. Can we still include their bank statement if we are now sponsoring

6. What information do we need to include in the Cover Letter to address the concerns raised.

PS: their application form was filled by me and was true and correct to the best of my knowledge. If you like, I can share.
