But if we don't put unqualified teachers in one government school, how else can we repay our party faithfuls for their work during elections?? 154 Likes 13 Shares |

Nigeria! The Colleges of Education have the least UTME cut off mark. This means the olodos are the ones sent to the Colleges of Education. Even in the Universities, the least UTME scorers are packed and dumped in the Faculties of Education. Students who could not cope in their respective courses are also transferred to the Faculty of Education. And we want the best teachers to graduate and teach our children? 84 Likes 7 Shares |

The teaching profession,Engineering and health sectors are professions where the experience and quality should never be tampered with.IM should be far from them When my Chem 101 lecturer grappled with spelling Chemistry on the board that year,I wept for Nigeria... A country where a public servant spends so much to enroll her/his kids in a private school ,where a Waec holder or a College of Edu graduate who failed Jamb would teach the kids is an Anomaly. Our Education standard would fall more 6 Likes |

How would like to know how they came up with this statistics. But I kind of agree with them because I have taught before. From my experience most schools employ ssce holders to teach because they know they won't pay them much. 2 Likes 3 Shares |

My opinion in a nutshell, Old teachers with old-fashioned skills dominate our public primary schools. As for private schools, half-baked teachers abound far more than qualified ones. The real teachers are not teaching; the profession is not lucrative. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Statisense should drop the metrics they use for all this data. Like, it’s not realistic. We don’t even a data base system. How did they arrive at this? 4 Likes 3 Shares |
