why do we have useless people who always oppose efforts to make changes in this country? You are so blind to see that this is an effort? When government review upward tax, petroleum products was increased multiply by 4, same with electricity, gas and every other thing, was government plan realistic for Nigerian survival?

Clowns. Even if government raised the minimum wage to N1,000,000 today, it will still be worthless because the economy will be on hyper inflation. The same goods you buy for N10,000 today is the same thing you will buy for N1,000,000 if minimum wage is increased.
Minimum wage was increased to N30,000 a few years ago and many states are yet to fully implement the N30,000 , most of them are still owning workers and you want FG to increase it further.
Have you tried to find out what a Senator takes home monthly?

When they were sponsoring hajj with 90billion they didn’t consider inflation

Labour needs to stop smoking and drinking. When you have useless set of people as Labour leaders this is what happens. For the next 20 years no president can pay minimum wage of 500k. Your fucking calculation is total rubbish if you like strike for 10 years it not happening. Nigeria labour is not productive, you guys are just total liability to government. Without you the system will run effectively. Mind you this is progressive government meaning anyone can be replaced at anytime especially since everyone is aware that you guys are into politics. Come down from the rooftop and negotiate something reasonable between 100k to 200k. You think salary can be enough for you right just dey play. When your salary is stop in this hash economy you will realise what is to feed.

615 is not feasible at all... It will do more harm even cause hyperinflation and further destroy the economy which is leukaemiacious already. Instead of this bogus amount, let the labour leaders make demands in terms of infrastructure and other kinds to make life easy that even if they collect 35k, it won't have much adverse effect.

Inflation this inflation that
Are you telling me it is the minimum wage that has caused inflation over the years or your useless government that failed to set up avenues for more goods to be available in the economy by encouraging production?

Pay workers what they deserve and stop exposing your empty brain when you have no idea how much a senator takes home excluding all the budget padding and “hardship allowance”

Clowns and Actors of Labour .

You do not need to be an economist to know that an outrageous jump in any expenditure such as N30,000 to N615,000, minimum wage, can only be imagined in a Nollywood comedic movie.

You are earning minimum wage ,but decided to have a family of 6, but wants government to pay for your insanity?

You are on minimum wage, but wants to live in an apartment that requires rent of N40,000 per month and electricity bill of N20,000 and you want government to pay for your insanity?

You are on minimum wage but wants to send your children to schools that require expenses of at least N50,000 per month and you want government to pay for your insanity?

How many private sector companies can afford N615k maximum wage not to talk of minimum wage?

And so the government at all levels should spend all the monies only on government workers which constitute very minute percentage of the over 200 million unverified population ?

There is no where in the world where minimum wage pays all your bills, you have to climb the job ladder, upgrade your skills and qualifications or work extra hours to earn higher wages.

When Labour is truly ready for negotiation ,even an imbe*cile would know.

All these compromised labour and their delay tactics to buy the APC Government more time.
It's impossible for APC to pay #615,000.
To pay even #100,000 as minimum wage they would need to removal subsidy totally either from petrol or electricity.

What is infrastructure in the phase of hunger and Poverty?
1paint plastic of Garri was 1300naira as at December last year, it is presently 3600naira. A bag of rice was 28,000naira, it is currently 69k. Abeg which infrastructure will make someone survive on minimum wage of 35k with this high level of inflation?

600k plus is unrealistic if we should be sincere with ourselves while the 48k on the part of the government is unacceptable. The NLC should start there negotiations with about 200k and bring it down and personally, around 70k to 90k should be agreed upon because that will be more realistic to some big states and the federal government but some states have not been paying the 30k and the NLC as done nothing about it.
