Who wrote this article? What's the connection between one Kenechukwu Okeke taking a bunch of people to court with Pastor Sam Adeyemi choosing to stay in the US?

The truth of the matter is, many people who have what it takes to be established and thrive in saner countries wouldn't like to remain in Nigeria; just reading news about Nigeria can even piss you off!
Where was Okeke mentioned?

You are right at your second paragraph, it's just an unfortunate state that everyone has subconsciously accepted and adapted well not all.

Years back I would intentionally not go on nairaland for months to avoid all this kind of news that will piss you off every morning, you must just see one. But one got to stay inform, I heard to look for ways to just read at some of those news with a sense of humour but every now and then you will still get pissed off. Either revolution or we japa, the middle ground is misery.

I am not a member of Daystar but I prefer him spreading good messages from Zoom than bad bad messages diaspora people do using internet and social platforms. The problem with Nigerians is that they always want a savior, what's my business if he japaAre you him Must he live your life Don't you have fathers brothers, uncles and friends to live up to Why must you use someone's life as your own Take his message and live your own life. The internet of today allows us to listen to motivational talks from Indians, Peruvians, Congolese and Russians.

Some people still want to listen to that message and a King is sometimes not recognized in his village, so he must go out.

His messages of hope are better than those of you who are filled with hate and negativity. Some people say who motivation epp? Who sadness and hate epp Some people enjoy it so if sadness makes you happy, stay there. I have listened to this man on TV a couple of times and he talks sensibly.
You were making sense but your last paragraph is short sighted. Most of us have come to realise that the motivational industry is a complete scam they are just monetizing hope.

Which motivation do you want to give a Nigerian man? We see through your happiness and know that it's a mirage and you are just being a coward that can't face reality.

All this dreaming and dreaming no necessary. You both had it in mind, all your kids are there who would you go back to in Nigeria? As a pastor you can easily start up a new branch over there, you can continue with virtual service with your congregation in Nigeria. Also, during this period it felt like Nigeria was going to burn, no one would want to come back if they had a choice. It is no brainer that your sub-conscious mind was ready to make USA home.
You is just making up shit and even if it is true he is smart enough to know that it's his subconscious mind that is playing a trick on him since the country was passing through various turmoil with the Covid and endsars, he actually really sat down and way his options and those spiritual jargons na smoke screen.

John 10: 11-13
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
When I remember that so many British Pastors died in their efforts to bring Christianity to West Africa and Nigeria in particular that already had Islam and traditional religion, I realise that the African man is just so brittle.
This transactional pastorship is a disgrace to the efforts of men like Henry Townsend, Thomas Freeman, Phillip Quaque etc who left the developed world to bring light of Jesus to Africa.
Today, when the African man is spreading Christianity, he does it by leaving the undeveloped world for developed Western nations who probably know more about Christianity than he does. He does not go to Somalia, Eritrea, Rwanda etc to spread his gospel. He chooses the best places instead. No Macedonia call on their minds.
Sam Adeyemi is now telling us that the Holy Spirit told him to abandon his "local church" and reach them via zoom while flying all over the world.
This cannot be the Holy Spirit.

So right now, the focus shift is to do that global walk while we keep Daystar running, leveraging technology.”

This is the koko. I believe he got so used to the US during and after his graduate program on leadership there.

I remember his days on Radio Nigeria ,giving great inspirational speeches on success and leadership that touched a lot of us. If anyone told me that he will japa one day, especially when he was close to his 60th birthday, I would not believe it. I can imagine if everyone of us chose to stay put overseas. Who will build the great Nigeria he preached to us ?

I wish him all the best if he wants to run Daystar Church through Zoom and technology platforms.

There is probably a good reason he didn't choose to relocate to a third world even to run his graduate program.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

God can protect a pastor anymore? Meanwhile, they will be praying God's protection over the lives of the sheepie while they flee to civilize countries to enjoy.

Even when Elijah ran away from Jezebel for fear of his life, God brought him back to witness her gruesome disgrace and death. So shall your portion be if you also believe

Same God told Joseph to run with baby Jesus to Egypt.

Why did God ask Joseph to flee to Egypt with Jesus? Wisdom and Faith should be applied together.

Why do they always go to developed nations to "propagate" the gospel?

Why not to underdeveloped or developing Nations?

Was this what the disciples of old did?

In November 2020, a rights activist, Kenechukwu Okeke, filed a criminal complaint against Mr Adeyemi and 50 persons, including musicians Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and Davido, for their roles in the #EndSARS protests nationwide.

Kenechukwu did not see Flavour who led the protest in person in places like Enugu and Calabar to add to his suit .
