Did Peter Obi not demolish northerners business when he was governor? The Lagos government just followed the footsteps of Obi. The northerners are right to complain but they should channel their anger towards Obi who started with the trend

are you invariably admitting that peter obi is the standard of governance in nigeria which apc elected officials ought to look up to and model themselves after?

The truth about this demolition is that the ronu's lasg wouldn't have done it but they want to show that the igbos are not their target that's why they did this to imply they are targeting anybody. They will rebuild this market back for the abokis watch n see.

I’m not sure this guy has ever been to that market.
First it was never a market but a residential area that was converted into a market and secondly; that market is very very dirty, stinking and carries a lot of disease pathogens.

The day I went to get ram from that market during rainy season was terrible.

They had been informed since last year, even Kwankwaso paid a solidarity visit before the election.

It's natural for anyone to complain, but the LASG should help them rebuild somewhere else and be strict with the security and environmental State of the new place.

Clearly you haven't been there before

It's a den of criminals and dirt. All cos of the Hausa people. You haven't seen any place so dirty and dangerous in your life

It should never be rebuilt

Your first paragraph is very true. Alabar Rago is an illegitimate site and all of their market heads know it's a temporary location. That place is an eyesore along Badagry expressway.

This is a very bad time for small traders. Even here up north, they have demolished shop on the road side (may be 80+ traders and their dependants render jobless).
