PRESCO! PRESCO! PRESCO!
Where is our reward? It's harvesting season! We've sown the seeds, and now we're waiting to reap the fruits of our labor.
Remember, a delay in dividends doesn't mean they're denied.
As Peter Bernstein wisely said, '
"The fundamental law of investing is the uncertainty of the future."
Keep the faith and stay patient. Our harvest will come overnight.

Many stocks have attractive prices right now, the only problem is that fixed income is even more attractive.
Government is borrowing at high rates. Nothing give better peace of mind than Nigerian govt bonds. Put money and sleep.

Chrisland Schools raising money through commercial papers. CPs are preferred alternatives to borrowing at such exorbitant rates.

https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/41375_HONEYWELL_FLOUR_MILL_PLC-_QUARTER_5_-_FINANCIAL_STATEMENT_FOR_2024_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_MAY_2024.pdf

The key takeaway from Honeywell's 105-page bloody financial statements is that the company is now a going concern.

"Save the worst for the last"

Notably, the company has a negative shareholders' balance, and its liabilities exceed its current assets.
The company reported a loss of N10.1 billion for the year ended March 31, 2024, compared to a profit of N256 million in 2023. As of March 31, 2024, the company's current liabilities exceeded its current assets by N21.6 billion, compared to N11.1 billion in 2023.
A significant portion of the payables is due to related parties.
However, the parent company, FMN, has issued a letter of support, committing to support the company in meeting its obligations as and when due.

Simply put, Right issue is when quoted companies sell shares to existing qualified shareholders in most cases at a discount price compare to the current price of the stock on the NGX. Here shareholders pay for the new shares.
It's not compulsory you participant in a RI, it's by choice.

Bonus as the name implies is like a gift. This is when companies give extra shares to qualified existing shareholders at the expense of the company. Here shareholders don't pay for the new shares.
Shareholders get Bonus not by choice even if you are not aware your cscs account will be credited with the bonus due you unlike RI where you have to make a choice.

In both cases, your shares increases but for one you pay - RI while the other you don't pay - Bonus.

With seplat deal almost done, something tells me Oando's deal will soon be completed. The way Tinubu intervened to make this deal go through is the same way he might try to ensure Oando's.
He says he wants to increase crude oil output by all means possible.
