It sounds so idiotic to say that you'll retaliate against criminals, except what they're planning is attack innocent people. If you know where to find the terrorist group all this while, why wait till they kill soldiers before you 'retaliate? Except you are lying by calling them terrorists, you don't retaliate against criminals, you find them, catch them and serve them justice. 1 Like |

How many thousands of soldiers killed in the North HV U retaliated. Very unprofessional! No investigations. No intelligence gathering. The question is if you kill innocent citizens in retaliation, wouldn't that justify more reprisal attacks on you? ISWAP, BOKO Haram & co are wrecking havoc in the North, taxing people, controlling land & resources, but here in the South, Na so so checkpoints una Sabi! He who lives by the sword ... |

Heart wrenching to know that two of the affected soldiers were of Ngwa extraction in same Abia state! One was recently redeployed to Aba, after serving 10 years fighting Boko Haram in Maiduguri,Borno state. Killed by their own brothers! This dastardly act is highly condemnable. Murdered in cold blood. May God avenge their deaths in Jesus Name |

DMerciful:The soldiers had always been at that particular post for years now. Not as if they were just sent there yesterday. They always help out in controlling traffic around that side. They've become very conversant with people in that area. They didn't pose any threat to anyone 1 Like |

Who ever killed those soldiers did a very bad thing, now innocent people may pay for it. This is a serious statement from the Military. When you kill a Soldier, you have declared total war. |

Raskimonojendor:Why the lies. Nobody supports killing of security men. Yesterday was a Special Day for people of southeast. Remembrance Day. Why not allow them? This is what is done in many sane countries. And so, why deploying Forces to the streets that day? Note that no nation makes progress under pretensions, grovelling bigotry and nepotism. Nnamdi KANU being held in gulag for the past three years despite court intervention cannot promote peace. An example is what happened in Aba. Free the man and all these problems will be addressed. Tell your Principal whom you are working for the reality of southeast genocide. 2 Likes |
