lexy2014: Its is not about convention here, i am sure you were not born yesterday, all these years in similar cases who has handled the case If not the military themselves, i am more focus on reality We all know Nigeria police and Army don't share cordial relationship or synergy that is a limitation that cannot be overlooked The military has several unit, if they have medical unit, i am sure the military has detectives and an investigation unit, the last event of killing of military in delta state shows the military can improve and be better, the military did well in delta state that is why till now the media/activist have nothing to say |

I'm not a fan of the so called IPOB, but most people commenting here are foolish hypocrites. It's only ontop Igbo matter that they can sustain their erection. They only find their voice once Igbo is involved. F*CK IPOB F*CK the fools who support violence in our nation, including the fools who vote in bad leaders because of their ego. Idiots. |

rinzaugustine:don't divert the topic, Ipob killed soldiers, anyone in connection with Ipob, even if you wear their wrist band should be killed, they should kill them real bad that they won't be able to coordinate any attacks on Nigerian soil again. If you qoute me and say rubbish, you should be killed too because you are a legitimate threat and you should be a target. |

lexy2014: How did you know the military don't retaliate in the North, are you there or do you follow them around Mind you the huge difference between North and South is media, if pin drop in the south the whole world will hear it, so many things happen in the North unreported. Did you not hear the news of military jet mistakenly wiping out a community in north mistaken them for terrorists But life went on as if nothing happened, such can't happen in the South be rational in reasoning |

reddingtonblack:.... They should be ready to repel or counter an attack that's what they are trained for, not to reinforce and start harassing innocent civilians after their butts are been wiped. If they can't repel an attack or take cover I don't see why they should be blocking our roads with empty drums and sand filled in sacks.. The Nigerian military are just bunch of sissies that can be easily be defeat by any armed group.. That is why they have been fighting boko haram for a decade plus now. |
Re: Tension As Soldiers Lay Siege On Aba, Markets Shut by Brimstone77: 9:43am On Jun 01, 2024 |
beardedboy:.... Why didn't your military reinforce and attack on the 30th when they were beaten? According to the video online those gun men operated for more than 20/30min why didn't your military ambush them? The cowards have to wait for 48hrs to start laying siege on civilians.. |

koboko69: I am ashamed that you know how to put English together but still can't logically put some things into perspective. Just as nigerian military is failing to understand that using exccessive force would make some people determinie to attack again. We are not too far from a failed state, and to win this war nigerian army needs the support of the people.. Boko haram Spiral out of control because of this kind tactics. Today we still do not know who are sponsoring herdsmen and unknown gunmen. If they are failing to invest money in intelligence gathering, we might wake up one day in an upside down Nigeria. My point is this: we can't be punishing the innocent because of the wrong some people whom don't represent them. This gorilla styled approach would make people hate them the more. Remember empire didn't not fall in one day! |

reddingtonblack: you have not answered my questions. the question is why does the military always retaliate against civilians in the south but not in the north when a soldier gets killed? why has the military not "retaliated" in Katsina state for this? |

koboko69: You just made no fuckin sense.... If these gumen hide in the bush why haven't they tracked them to it Most of you are really foolish.... This eastern issue started from the powers assigned to curb it.... When the complaints were loud 6-7 years ago about the intentional and willful ignorance of the rise of this group.... Everyone appeared deaf.... Just the boko HARAM came into play, so also are the gunmen..... It's unfortunate they are now in the dimension of Guerrilla warfare.... Something am afraid will overrun the military |
