General overseers need to treat local church pastors the way Jesus treated his disciples !

The average salary of a pastor in Nigeria is 30,000 to 40,000 Naira ( 30-40USD) a month! How can a pastor with a family survive on this? With the prevailing conditions in the country, GOs need to up their pay. These pastors are crying and unhappy ! Many of them work full time and don’t have any other source of income!

These pastors have to also ensure that a large percentage of income generated in church through tithes and offerings are sent to the headquarters on a weekly basis! I have had some of these devoted pastors tell me how they feel sad that the headquarters takes almost everything and they have little or nothing to run their local churches!

I find this preposterous, someone slaves away to build a local ministry and sends almost everything to the headquarters for the big boy at the top to live large with his family! GOs are not more important, special or better than any child of God.

The General overseers in the headquarters fly private jets, drive bulletproof luxury cars and live a life of luxury while the foot soldiers( pastors in local churches) wallow in poverty!
Jesus was difficult to separate from his disciples because they had the same quality of life hence the need to have a Judas betray him when the time arose.

I am looking forward to a time when it will be difficult to separate pastors of local branches from the GOs. A time when they will all wear same quality of suits, drive same quality of cars, have access to fly the private jets and also have same quality of life! That is when I will be convinced the GOs really want to be like Jesus!

All in all, General overseers need to be more considerate and put less financial pressure on their pastor foot soldiers. They should also pay them decent salaries(minimum of 100k/mth and ensure the financial gap between them and their pastors is significantly narrowed!

Their focus should be on the RAPTURE.

They are not following the teachings of Jesus. Jesus said they will do greater works than he has done. So like Jesus they should be able to command naira to come out of the mouth of an ATM fish to buy what they need.

You people just don't get tired of this agenda against church, pastors, GOs. It always come in one indirect for or another.

First, church is not an industry and pastoring is not a job. It's not something you do to earn. Secondly, for pastors collecting salaries, you don't know what the arrangement is with the church. I have never seen pastors carrying placard protesting minimum wage.

When you look at the first church in the Bible, you will see that the enemy has really infiltrated the church.

The early church sold all they had and distributed to the needy among them. And hence provided for themselves hidden heavenly bags that never failed in supply when they were in need. They "foolishly" trusted God's word to not save one's money or property but give to the needy and pile up treasures for oneself in heaven.

This wisdom of giving beyond one's means to the poor and the work of God is foolishness to this world. For they say how can a man gain more from giving out his all? But we don't know how, yet God says so. We don't know how a seed sown in a woman's womb develops bones and becomes a full human, we don't know how the seeds we sow on our lands germinate into trees. Surely there is a mystery behind these things.

Today, Christians don't believe this word. We may believe every other thing but this one. We are "wise" like the world when it comes to money and cannot understand how giving out everything we have, can erect a bank in heaven for us. Yet we are faced with other unexplained mysteries that we have accepted as natural.

It's unbelief in this truth, that has led to ministries running like an enterprise. We live in fear like the world and don't trust God because our treasures are still saved here on earth with us.

Allow them to enjoy the fruits of their labour. This is their business and their heaven like this.

The minimum salary of these pastors should be 150,000. Cost of living is high. This is to avoid MOG helping himself from the church purse. You shall not muzzle a ox when it is threshing.

Because some people in ur religion have so many things to hide. When you dnt have anything to hide, you open urself for crictisizm.

.....and that's why vast majority of Muslim faithfuls ready to do any atrocities to defend their faith.( Not even when more than 2/3 dnt even understand the religion and to make the matter worse, the religion leaders reluctant to allow the adherents to question the aspect that aren't clear to them)
