Even if this Nike deal comes true. It does not change the fact that dead woods should not be allowed to stay in the club. Barca still needs to sell off some useless players even if the club's purse is bulging.

Yes, it will aid us quickly build our financial muscle in the short term but long term it's not a good deal to me. 10 years is way too long for just €100-120mn per year. In 5 years time, that money would look very average and we'd be stuck for another half decade with such deal while other top teams get better deals. Unless the deal is renegotiated several years later to reflect current realities but the edge goes to Nike.
I'd have preferred 7 years maximum.

We were the highest paid kit holders some years back with this current Nike deal. Now, we're seeing how underpriced we are after COVID and FFP wrecked our financials.

Anyhow sha, good for us for next season and the next. Even if we somehow don't get to 1:1 rule, there's nothing Tebas can do to stop us from it in 2025. Our wage bill margin will still significantly improve even if we don't hit 1:1 rule this upcoming season. So things looking bright for us as well as a new coach and a rejuvenated La Masia delivering top talents every year.

Xavi might have been annoying for most of his time this season but one can't deny his impact on our youth. He's helped us generate a solid foundation to base our rebuild back to the elite. Dude did us a solid with Fermin, Lamine and Cubarsi.
He couldn't take us to the promise land but he was fundamental in leading the way. For this I'm grateful to him. Even tho his exit would have been in better circumstances, it was badly needed by us to get to the next level.

Ter standing will always be a second GK in the national team even if neur is on crutches. We need to get rid of dat guy. The only thing is dat I don't usually trust those new goalkeepers in their first season. It might take some times to adapt

Mikel Merino strongly linked to Barca. Omo if we can pull it off, our midfield don set. I've always felt merino is underrated and zubimendi overrated. He'll be perfect as the defensive midfielder in the double pivot that flick wants to play.
