I am not watching the game but when I checked online to see the lineup, I knew immediately that we where finished. How did ihenacho that couldn't get a start for Leicester in championship start for us. What is onuachu doing in the team. Who the Bleep are tanimu and bashiru? Finidi want to tell me he couldn't find better players compared to this guys. Even the bench self isn't encouraging.

There was even news that was on online media,SM and even here on nland that amuneke had been appointed and majority of people were happy and hopeful.
Suddenly the news was debunked and out of the blues,Finidi of all coaches was appointed!
Who knows if it was even because of his appointment, amokachi refused to be his assistant.
Let's just watch.Hope Nigeria still wins, but the issue is that a victory will then blind the NFF to his deficiencies again.
those people are just yoo corrupt, Amunike hws managed a nationals team and also perform well. Why bring somebody without any national team experience?

From the beginning of time South African teams don't like direct football.

Running at them.

Why the hell is Nigeria not trying to run at them.

The right back and Ihenacho are totally useless in the game. The Eagles are too far apart from each other and not compact, leaving too many pockets for the SAs to move into.

This team lack tactics, no attack sense.
They need to do everything possible to get a real midfielder. Iwobi is not it as all... not even close to mikel.

The problem of Nigeria is that they are using more overseas players, while south africa is using local based players

Well, the South Africans have a very potent league, very beautiful to watch by African standard. They also have a team in Sundowns that is among the top 5 on the continent, but the ours rarely make it past the group stages of all African competitions, even our league is an eyesore.

Because all Peseiro did was park the bus.

If it's just by tactics, Pep will stick to the players he met at Mancity

The team is missing 3 keys players that were in AFCON

Osimhen, Moses and Ekong

I get your points, but tactics matter a lot, give some coaches the best players in the world, and they will still fail woefully.

If Nigeria doesn't win this match, all the NFF executives should be put in prison, their bank accounts frozen and houses confiscated.
Many people kicked against this Finidi publicly that this guy doesn't have what it takes, yet NFF to the shock of everyone appointed Finidi.
Even if Nigeria eventually wins this match, these are early signs this guy doesn't have the capacity to lead the super Eagles going forward
I don't know how you people watch or judge football. This is his first game and these players only trained together yesterday. Even you don't like Finidi, you should not judge him with his first game. The way Una dey take dey serious for just soccer, if una put that effort for politics, Tinubu should have stepped down by now.
