Strayed animals used to come before until I fixed a gate on the property. The first were four silly goats and then the notorious herders.

He cut enough maize to feed himself for the day.

Thugnificent:
Wow this is really crazy oo😧

Hope there wasn't much damages

And also, how did you deal with stray animals because that's what I'm currently facing.

Damn , I can only Imagine the incurring losses. Sorry bro

My compound has a gate that's always on lock and keys. But there is hole under the gate where most stray animals come in from. What do you advice can be done about it?

What do you mean by tree base?
Plants that grow into trees.
You can't plant those in sacks.

Okay so What are you consuming over there presently with the GMO craze going on.
Pretty much what you consume back in Nigeria.
There are African foods here.
Re: My Farming Journey (pictures) by netmillionaires(m): 8:24pm On Jun 08
Extend the cemented part under the gate to both ends. It will take care of the others except the cats

No car entry or exit in the compound this year. Mostly pedestrian, bike or keke and the stones don't affect that in anyway.

I know what GMO means bro.
Except you're telling me food from Ghana and Nigeria are now genetically modified in Africa.
African stores here sell pretty much every kind of African food, except that they are expensive.
If you want ugwu from Nigeria, you'll get it here.

Nice one op
Followed the thread to this page I must commend your efforts.
First of all if you want to plants the stuff you mentioned on your Post for these moulds I will advice you to either reduce them { plant yam and cocoyam} or make the moulds very big.
Cause if you plant yam, cocoyam, cassava for for one moulds it won't do very well.
I will just advice you buy the yam seedlings you can afford plant them together with cocoyam in the same mould then plant cassava separate in the remaining moulds.
You don't plant cassava when the yam hasn't started springing up, cause if you do it will disturb their growth, cause the cassava will first the yam to grow and the yam won't be able to compete with the cassava for nutrients and space.

You could plant multiple seedlings at once and prevent obstructions. My own case yam, maize, potatoes, ugu, okra and cassava will all be planted on each mould cool
Hope non of the d items would affect each other in growing?

Water yam is softer and lighter than white yam and has lesser starch. Also, white yam is more in demand and sweeter and more preferable for poundo and also more expensive. Apart from this, no much noticeable difference.
Let me add sir,
Also, water yam is more in demand in diabetic patient than white yam. Infact diabetic patient doesn't eat white yam

This is not actually true.

The heap or how loamyis the soil (and rich in the right nutrients, of course) goes along way to determine the size of your harvest.
Experiment had been carried out, let me check if I can share some resources on this

Modified :
The concept is called Yam sett
