This administration is still accumulating debts. Aren't you aware of this? Subsidies are still being paid on refined products. Aren't you aware of this as well? There are discrepancies between what we buy at filling stations and the landing costs.

We have never experienced such high food price hikes before. Some claim it is due to increased criminal activities and increased transportation costs.

The looting of public funds cannot be stopped in this administration or the next one. We only get to find out the extent of the looting after an administration leaves office, and this one will not be different.

Please, examine these carefully, and I hope that you are not reasoning from a place of political bias, and privilege that many other suffering Nigerians do not have.
He failed equally to tell us under what party the money looted in what ever name they call it happened.
Make una no vex I sabi this is not politics thread but I no sabi see truth I go keep quiet. Pls nobody should quote me on this matter

If you have idle fund buy my bet naija stock with #20 target before next court case. The possibility of oando delisting is very slim from action of wale and the management of recent. Even if oando is going to delist it wont be happening soon.Wale body language and recent actions is pointing he wants to first join billion men club like ote, alhaji, rabiu etc before any other thing can happen.

And the present government want to use oando as part of thr success story being home grown companies achievements like Dan refinery, seplet etc likely for next election in defence to foreign companies leaving the country.

This is me being sincere once again with my street credibility..The media is already doing the image promotions.Don't be surprised to see applications to discontinue the court matters in the next hearing. Oando results is not yet green but it is not just results that push prices up in nse.

Good evening: elders, CurrentPrice, Pa Emma, OGG, Mcy,BullbearMkt and others. I need your suggestions.
I need to buy VFD shares due to the Bonus shares.
I compared its PE@Q1 ( 24) to that of UCAP PE @ Q1,(31.7). Factoring the Bonus shares. Should I buy it or wait after markdown.
I am open to suggestions and recommendations

Markdown is just 50k x 4 = N2. I stand to be corrected

On Accesscorp...
Anyone that understands the thing about NPR, TERP, the degree of % dilution of a RI and how an assets EM capacity can cover up for it, will have logical answers to the following;

1) Why there was a huge accumulation in the last few weeks spearheaded by one of the key stakeholder of the bank (Mr. AiG) despite what was clearly a supply side imbalance in the coys trade book.
2) Why the coys feasible % dilution in view of her planned RI @ N19.75 will have only but a minor impact on her earnings quality and resultant future reward to shareholders in the short to mid term.
3) Why the RI subscription peg is at a premium to the coys CMP yet June 7 (same date as the circular) was announced as the QD.

A smart investor can immediately infer that management may already have the funds on standby given the implied negative NPR in view of the RI peg. Apparently, they do not necessarily need our money. wink cheesy cool
Again, a smart trader should also be able to see that the N2.5 disparity between the coys CMP and the proposed RI peg (ref: 19.75--17.25) could most likely be closed out in the short term.
...the coys TA stance is already given a clue. (short term directional bias in view... see chart below)

• Price action has been gaining momentum, rejecting a further BoS since retesting the N16+ level which doubles as a strong PSL.
• Fridays close was above it's short term TL and smooth HA.
• Double bottom since early April after repeatedly respecting the aforementioned smooth HA level.

A break and effective close above the neckline of that DBP (ref: N18.4) which should also imply a COCH will likely see the coy push up to the N21 region.
The RI data could be an added catalyst to make the asset a HPT.

Bottom line: Accesscorp might deliver a 20--31% return in the short term. (could be more)
Long term? Well, it's important to remember that the bank holds a fundamentally healthy slate and occupies the 3rd position on a list of 7 most under-priced quoted banking coys at present.

What to do? Pls kindly follow your instinct.

CAVEAT: NOT an investment advice. The need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.

I believe so

Don't think it's fair though... how can 4 shares each valued on the floor at N202 be marked down at 50k nominal value each? A better formula needs to be devised

What are you saying?
The closing price this Friday divide by 5 is the opening price next Monday.
You will have to wait until the day the bonus share will be allotted before you can be able to access 80% of whatever you invest in the company on or before Friday 14th June 2024.

BoS-- Break of structure
EM-- Equity multiplier
HPT-- High probability trade

TL there connotes Trend line and not Timeline.

I like that you made a great attempt to decipher stuffs yourself and not wait to be indulged with everything. (like some folks would)

If you have good money that you don't want to lose and you are risk adverse, just align with money market jejely for now. NGX defiles all analysis at the moment. Floor market is more attractive than RI.. Lol ...

The game right now is for the market makers, the money bags that can afford to average down, the bullion vans that want controlling shares in some companies most especially banks and the highly experienced investors.

If you don't fall in any of the above categories, save yourself some sleepless night and invest in short term MM instruments, the rate is good right now. Be a smart investor. When the coast is clear , even the blind will see.
