Please I sent some funds from my opay account to a friend's chipper account so I can use his card to make some transactions on AliExpress since Friday morning.
The money successfully left my opay account but it's yet to reflect on the chipper account.
It's been 2 days already and customer care isn't responding to messages.
Has anyone experienced this and what's the best approach to recover my money?

No useless deductions

I don't think it's normal because I still placed 3 different orders with my Grey card this week but didn't experience such a thing.

Did you at any time experience declined payments with the Grey card during the last orders?

It wasn't really a decline. The orders were in the unpaid category so I got a new grey card and tried paying for them.
Initially, when I clicked pay, something popped up and I wish I had a screenshot, but I was still on the page. Had to click again which later worked.
That couldn't be the cause.
Do you think it is?

Based on this information, I assume that you didn't change the "currency" from naira to USD on AliExpress app. This could be the cause of the cross- boarder fee.

Like I said before, I made 3 orders recently (2 on Wednesday and 1 on Friday), but no such charges. In fact, I had to add more $ to my card balance to effect Friday payment.

Next time jus ensure you exhaust all your funds on your purchases.. if there are no funds left there will be no funds to take for Fx charge 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

CBN should bring back our Naira MasterCard with immediate effect

Solution to your challenge is found in preceeding pages. Unfortunately, you guys nor dey read previous posts, but to just come on board when in need and start asking same questions over and over again?

That was the mistake I made last time, I left funds behind to use for later.. before I knew what was happening dem Don bill me..

Since then I only fund exactly what I need to spend and I make sure I exhaust the funds.., cos if anything remain they will surely take it for their FX charge.

Annual charge should be equivalent of card maintenance fee in naira. Not sure.
$100 to open. Two people with Access bank accounts.

I don't know what is wrong with Klasha these days, i have stopped using them since my last card expired but as a refund was made since last Month on the card(expired), Klasha customer service has been telling me one story or the other after providing all they've requested for time after time, their usual we're sorry for the delay...blah blah blah

Even one of the customer care agent in her response called me another name while addressing me one time, it occurred to me that these people are massively copying & pasting responses

Anyone here know how i can escalate this to get my money back?
