Lol, they're tomatoes and are quite easy to cultivate. The one below is presently in my compound. You can see they were planted in bagco bags.

It's time we invest on heavy farming in this country...

Invest on good roads from farming communities to the market. Invest on security for the farmers and see if you will be telling the same story by next year.
We already have enough farm labor and enough land. Just roads and security will make all the difference.

Those are NOT tomatoes.
It’s a type of melon.

Tomatoes are berries.

See people just quick to now believe those are tomatoes.

Nigerians are naively gullible.
Those are tomatoes too, twas popular during the civil wars, because of hardships then.
Are we moving backwards or forward because of hardships again?

And the gullible ones still believe this country will get better where;

- There's no consequences for decision or indecision taken by the leaders.

- The leaders loot to high heaven and nothing happens.
The country will get better by getting disintegrated.

The topic is tomatoes and another fruit which is alternative to tomatoes.

Why do you digress and bring in religion, Muhammad, Allah Jesus and Lord ?

Why do you say Allah is a demon from hell ?

I am a Christian but I condemn that statement.

That statement can cause fight between Christian and Muslims.

Please refrain from using such statement .

It taste good. Infact, we used it over the weekend for stew. But you need to mix it with the normal tomatoes.

I used to plant this when I was 7-10 years old. It will ripe and then pluck it, scoop it into pot and boil it to dry off the water before use to cook your stew. It tastes so nice. But these ones on the pic are not ripe yet.

Any reference?

What type?

what is its botanical classification?

or are you saying because people called it so back then?
Re: Have You Used This Tomatoes To Cook Before? by Lovit(m): 11:08am On Jun 10
I have eaten that before when I was young. It was used as an alternative to tomato then

That said, we should not be going backwards. The FG, Ministry of agriculture and NIA should understudy reason for shortages in tomato production and come up with research and findings to ensure we have a robust supply of tomatoes year round

Other nations are solving their problems and providing a better life for their citizens, here we are debating if a cow should be granted citizenship status or not.
