There was no point letting Peseiro go. We won't be at the 2026 world Cup.
I called it that we won't be at the 2022 world Cup after letting Rohr go.

I had serious issues with Peseiro prior to the African Nations Cup, but had a change of mind when he figured a better way to play our boys that saw us reach the final 11 years after. Many Nigerians fail to see that their " world class" talent continually struggle to play as a team offensively. We got really difficult to concede goals at the Nations Cup and very minimal tweaking in the midfield with choice of suited player would have improve the formation.

We played as Spartan from game 2 of the African nation's cup and lost predominantly at the final due to injury and fatigue of players. We need results not fanciful passes and legwork. We were hard to breakdown at the Nations Cup.

You people should give coach time. Even after one year, it’s not still enough to score him. Coach inherited a comatose team. He doesn’t have a magic wand. You should all persevere a little bit more! While he fixes things.

Coach on your mandate I stand!

Bleep the winning... If you know and love football... You will like Rohr... I couldn't believe Nigeria could play soccer like that when we was coach .. Now we are back to default...even though we were grinding out results in Afcon... The football was nauseating... I almost vomit

Now I should put aside your earlier point that Rohr was winning and focus on the play. We were equally grinding out results under Rohr. grin grin grin

Finidi panicked after going down in the first half. Those second half subs were unnecessary. The midfield disappeared and he relied on hopeful long balls trusting Onuachu and Boniface. As he has seen, those things don't work. We didn't look dangerous going forward throughout the second half. He's still a rookie coach. No world cup for Nigeria. It's over.
as in why just remove your midfielders that can create chances even chukwueze should have still been on the pitch for some time and iwobi too you just pack attackers full. Front who will then create the chances for them

Was Peseiro given time? How do you reward a coach that got you to the final of afcon? By sacking him...One would think the next coach should be getting us to the final of the world cup and we are here struggling to beat benin rep. It's a shame

He cannot just allow his team to lie on the floor and allow Nigeria's national team step on them to victory. He has a job to do and he got the win.

So the national team should be a team where we experiment coaches right? All those coaches you mentioned if they are so good why are they not in our local league even if it is "Division 10".

Something must be fishy abeg.
bro troos ekong, ola aina n ahmed musa are all ok,he was not just ready to use them! He wanted to create his own team too! We have a coaching problem in the SE! Not players issue. No sensible coach will write off those 3 players n bliv he is winning all matches.

This should be Onuachu’s last game for the eagles.

Poor, decision making, lack of confidence, coordination affected the team badly today.

The Two subs he brought one were zero, a snail Iheanacho would have been better let’s assume he doesn’t wanna play Nathan Tella.

Onyeka should have come on for Ndidi at least as early as 55th Minute.

What was that schoolboy defending for the first goal? And while we were ball watching for the second.

He should have kept Iwobi for longer. The essence of playing two DM/CM is for balance but that didn’t work cos lookman was overworked with the bad passes often times making him tired and ineffective for the moments we needed him.

He could have gone 3 at the back even without Osayi’s injury cos he didn’t offer much.

My biggest grouse with the coach is not being able to do anything for 50 mins against a Benin republic team he had the wing and attack options.

Collapse the center and push your forwards higher up.

There were just so many things wrong no creativity, no pace or urgency even while we were down, so many unnecessary touches.

No wonder you're called Tellmeastory. You love fairy tales. Fairy tales are your substitute for real history.

The Sumerians and Akkadians discovered mathematics and developed a written language using the cuneiform script while your bush ancestors were busy eating each other. Stop claiming ancient Egyptian and Nubian achievements as your own. The ancient Egyptians and Nubians were not West Africans.

Don't be ashamed of your ancestors just because they are failures.

Tellmeastory:

Typical slave talk.

Black man invented writing, mathematics, iron smelting, mining of minerals, architecture, philosophy, the Calendar, Marriage, international trade, law, religion, the sciences and the arts, THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE THE FIRST WHITE MAN EXISTED.

The very fundamentals of modern civilisation were devised by BLACK AFRICANS over thousands of years.

So if anyone is copying anyone, it is the entire world copying Africa, and CIVILISED by Africans.

If you need sources to educate your thick, ignorant slave skull, do let me know.

Brainwashed, mentally colonised fools.

I wasn’t in support of Peseiro leaving the team. That’s the comatose I talked about.

For a coach to get a team up to afcon final was an indication he knew what he was doing. Definitely a winner had to emerge. Unfortunately it wasn’t Nigeria. Peseiro should not have been let go just like that

Make una leave finidi, this is national team it's never easy in just few months. He needs years to build his team.
I see he is attacking minded the kind of coach super eagles needs, if they sack him now it's pointless
This is the more reason they should not have appointed him to this job. We want to be at the next world cup having failed to be at the last World cup...now on the verge of not qualifying for the next Worldcup even after a solid outing at AFCON plus the fortune of being drawn alongside "lower ranked" footballing nations ....
If they wanted a coach that " needs years to build his team" then NFF should not deceive Nigerians about any Worldcup dreams.
If that was even their plan, they should have gone for a World class coach ...then employ Finidi separately to focus on recruiting young local players for say ...2030 dream....as it is it will be easier for " a carmel to go through the eye of the needle" than for SE to qualify over Bafana or even these Benin Republic team ..

Those players are also not passionate with playing for Nigeria.

If their country of residence / birth gives them opportunity to play for their National team, they will not even remember Nigeria.

There are local guys who will die for the badge. Put them in
