It still baffles me how a lot of Nigerians got themselves hoodwinked by a fraudster called Tinubu. This project is a scam. HiTec does not have the experience and capacity to do that type of road. Even Julius Berger will struggle to complete that road.....on their own, talk down of a company formed some years back with Lebanese and Arab engineers. That project will never pass Lekki axis. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Still a misplaced priority. We already have a network of road that runs from Lagos to Calabar. 1 Like |

Cmanforall: No it is not about continuity. The project makes no sense economically. You have ports littered all over the SS, why not expand them at least to the size of Tincan and Apapa and turn the entire coast of Nigeria to a maritime hub and then work on the rail and road access from the hinterland to these ports. There is no prosperity with that road. 1 Like |

CaptainFM1: No momentum will ramp up na white elephant project be dis. They have not even reached the main challenging part of the road which is from Warri all the way to PH, which is the entire length of the Niger delta where you go see better swamp and creeks wey you go sandfill tire. The truth is unravelling that this project will only start and end in Lagos. It was just a cover to complete the coastal road which Lagos state couldn't do because of funds. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Believeintruth:The funny thing about you guys is that you are vehemently stupid and you don't even know. So the shanties is worth 200 million ? . I started becoming irritated by Igbos more because of this coastal road. You know why? I am.personally affected. My house was marked for demolition and because of that, i have first hand info. Yorubas have more valued properties that are affected but we all started agitating with government without making noise and without political undertones. I was shocked when you foools started saying it was targeted at igbos. I looked at the list of the properties affected again and I became enraged. You guys need to leave for your stupiid biafra. This is getting too much 1 Like |

Each administration in government is worse and worse. The only thing they are good at is stealing and mismanagement. JOKERS. See his fat tummy!! What did we do to get the punishment of Tinubu government |
Re: Lagos-Calabar Highway: FG Reroutes Mega Project, Slashes Lanes To Six by Believeintruth: 4:05am On Jun 13 |
DUNDEEmoderatos: You rather don't have sense at all. If Mr Ibe brings the proof the same you people will shout that he is making noise. Never the less the man is already being invited by other sensible countries to invest in beach front tourism. This is already the Lagos loss as the revenue they should have earned has gone elsewhere and more companies will do the same. You really don't see the implication of this rubbish these people in power are doing. Tinubu deliberately targeted the landmark beachfront to enable his guy Chargoury expand Eko Atlantic because the original plan of the coastal road was from water corporation drive. 1 Like |

Aussie2doc: You are really a dunce walahi. So Landmark has shanties. Do you know what shanties are? You are not looking at the economic implication of this action. This man employs Yorubas who work for him, now serious and sensible countries have invited him to invest all that revenue and job opportunities gone. You should have small sense as it is not BT force to talk. Once again stop the lies your house was never marked for demolition because if it was you will never talk like this. This your format has casted. 1 Like |

Believeintruth:You think everyone hawks gala like you? For your Information, before landmark started his IGBO PROPAGANDA, We already got a lawyer in my area, paid the Estate valuer recommended by the ministry of works from Abuja who did valuation of all the properties so we know the value. It was that document we were using to negotiate with government and plead for realignment. We were also.meeting with affected property owners in different axis including your landmark. We have several.whatsapp groups for property owners. The IGBOS are the least affected. Landmark was never touched eventually. Only his swimming pool and illegal structures built by the shoreline. Ordinarily, he is supposed to pay government for them to remove those structures. The igbos that were affected don't have legal titles for the properties. They went ahead to bribe and build on the gazetted road. |

Believeintruth: Now they are saying the government did some realignment, you guys started saying the government didn't plan well, no environmental impact assessment bla bla bla.. If you know how we were begging and lobbying everyone that matters, you won't be typing rubbish. We brought the minister, the surveyor General, the works controller, the MD of Hitech etc several times giving them alternatives. The government is doing some realignment to help some owners you guys are still complaining. What is wrong with you all? |
Re: Lagos-Calabar Highway: FG Reroutes Mega Project, Slashes Lanes To Six by Believeintruth: 4:40am On Jun 13 |
Aussie2doc: The realignment is just to save face. These issues should have been sorted out during the EIA and final design approval. The project is shady bro. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Believeintruth:If if if ..mumu let him bring the proof else you all should STFU Because people will say he is making noise that is why he is not bringing the proof! Are you this dumb? What a senseless comment! What is your business if it is a revenue loss to Lagos? Is Lagos complaining to? Is Lagos your east? He is bringing another narrative about Chargoury brothers lmao 😂🤣! |
Re: Lagos-Calabar Highway: FG Reroutes Mega Project, Slashes Lanes To Six by Aussie2doc: 4:47am On Jun 13 |
Believeintruth:I will tell you for free. If the government had insisted on the original gazette marked since 1980s, many properties will be destroyed and government won't have to pay compensation. Over the years, people started building on the gazetted road thinking the project is dead. Of course they bribed government officials to look away. It is not everything you read in the papers that is true. The government tried to avoid so many structures including those that even built on the gazetted road. However, once they realigned your own, it will affect new owners infront. If they had avoided Landmark shanties completely, they would have to destroy many more structures infront. At a time, we kept quiet and were doing our agitation silently because if we make noise, it will affect some other people infront too. We had to promise certain.people we would contribute money to build for them elsewhere If the new realignment affects them so that they won't start shouting too. You think it is easy. You guys don't know anything |
Re: Lagos-Calabar Highway: FG Reroutes Mega Project, Slashes Lanes To Six by Aussie2doc: 4:55am On Jun 13 |
By the way, Landmark could have achieved more silently without making noise. By making so much noise, he allowed other properties owners that would be affected by a new realignment to quickly stand up and start their own agitation too so there was no way the government could re route anything again. It is not everything that we must turn to Igbo agenda. |

I pray you live long to see it's completion... |

hammer567: It is not envy or jealousy but blatant corruption and state capture. Tinubu intends to destroy Lnadmark and replace it with Eko Atlantic 2. Igbo's must stop this weak and stupid victimisation behaviour. The people attacking Igbo's interests are doing it out of greed and corruption. 1 Like |
