Joebie:won Spanish division 2 twice won Romanian league Afcon bronze, not a huge profile but if you can appoint Finidi and also have Amunike name whispered around the job then this is several steps an upgrade 8 Likes 1 Share |

Joebie:true, at least most of these grade C European coaches have proved they can get us playing decently against African opponents, at least I’ll take that over what we got with Eguavoen Siasia and Oliseh 6 Likes |

Monsignor22: 😂 Finidi did not leave us in any mess. It is the way the NFF ran the Super Eagles for years that caused this mess. You are literally suggesting a program that will take time to implement and want Finidi to have turned things around with little time with players and very tight appointment time. There are things we can criticize Finidi for but definitely, he did not create the current mess. 4 Likes |

Our problem is we lack patience! A people without patience we achieve nothing! You don't want Rohr, Paserio, Finidi etc. Who do you want? Pep? lol Napoleon55: 1 Like |

No coach will give you a good team with 2 days of training! International football is more about understanding one another not neccessarily calibre of players! Boniface and Onuachu couldn't understand each other cos they had less than a day training. Who do we have on the bench? nobody! mank1234: 4 Likes |

AIG07:I think they need to attain heights in coaching world and a lil bit of popularity.. The perception would then come on its own. Like most of you said, let's this coaches go and coach other teams out there, gain experience and become better .. The rest of it would come naturally.. 3 Likes |

Napoleon55: You should always pay attention to detail and specifics. I used the qualifying diction, "ALMOST" everything. The pertinent component that made the SE teams of 1994 and slightly beyond so successful was not 🚫 because they were born in Nigeria. But QUALITY the Nigerian league produced players who went to the best teams in world football. The SE players at that TIME , were predominantly from top European teams some even top goal scorers in their leagues like Yekini. Ajax was a power house in world football at that time with players like Olise, Kanu, Tijani, Finidi etc We had the prince of Monaco Ikpeba, we had Jjay, Taribo all playing in top clubs. It was not because they born in Nigeria, I mean there were a few not born in Nigeria who played like Efan Ekoku but not many. Tobi Amusan was born in Nigeria finished secondary school in Nigeria. But then where has she been developing her talent and in the process getting a MSc from Texas university same university as Okagbare while Ofili is developing her talent at Louisiana university. The place of Birth is inconsequential in her in athletic it's the place of development. You mentioned 🎶🎵l agree 💯% these musicians artists are 1000% Naija signed created nurtured, developed, educated, and delivered to the World 🌎. They are the most positive export alongside Nollywood we have. The place of birth is completely inconsequential and of no significance to determine commitment, integrity, desire, etc The people who have raped this nation since it's inception were not born outside but within. 1 Like |

villagereporter: I don't think he was singularly responsible for players selection the NFF will still bring in their favoured ones . The NFF is corruption ridden and has been for decades. |

Amedino99: When student don't like a teacher, they skip class. If it's true, the blame is to NFF, they should consult top players when they want to hire. Two cannot work except they agree. 2 Likes |
