It wasn’t being born again that made him rescind his decision, it was self conviction. Born again phenomenon will only make you mope and fail exams while others cheat.

Therefore, you are only confirming that religion breeds corruption by advising him to go the way of prayers. The young man discovered he got into a university by cheating and tried to correct for posterity.

you are grappling for excuses. Yes the right thing is to expose evil doers when you repent. A christian should not cover armed robbers.
