House34: Thanks for your response. However, I check for where to apply in the immigration website for the infant. What I see is Emergency travel certificate which can be processed within 10 business days and must have a Nigerian passport. Please, is that the same process you are referring to? |

Bettypro: The school would have resources and advisors to help you settle in and get around a few things. For meeting Nigerians, while there may be Whatsapp groups, best bet might be church (like RCCG). Best wishes in your endeavor. |

harmonyedu: 1. You will handle all these when you arrive Canada. They are simple processes you shouldn't be bothered about. 2. Your kids are not up to school age, they will attend pre-school. Pre-school doesn't need study permit. 3. You would have finished your program before the older child attains kindergarten age. Lol. You have lots of time. 2 Likes |

Greeting everyone, I need information, what does it require for a Nigerian resident in Canada to be able drive? Is Nigeria's drivers license the only prerequisite? Any other required documents? Please help ๐ |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Luckybelt: 4:31pm On Jun 18 |
Daveconsult007:You can drive in canada for 3 months with ur Nigerian driver's licence. I advice people to use the 3 months to drive and get used to the rules of canada road before trying to get canadian licence. As soon as you write your knowledge test they will collect the Nigerian licence. |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by ednut1(m): 7:04pm On Jun 18 |
Daveconsult007:drivers license and driving records if you have 2 years plus driving experience Luckybelt:learn the rules first/ get a tutor before entering the road. Using Nigerian license to get insurance too doesnโt make much sense too. |

Living in Canada as an immigrant has been an incredible experience for me. I've been here for about five years now, and the journey has been full of learning and growth. Initially, adjusting to the cold winters was challenging, but the warmth of the people made up for it. I started out working various jobs to get on my feet, but I always dreamed of running my own business. After some time, I came across a great opportunity for a business for sale Canada. I purchased a small cafรฉ in Toronto, which has been both challenging and rewarding. The community support has been amazing, and it feels great to contribute to the local economy. For anyone considering a move to Canada, I'd say go for it. The opportunities here are vast, and with some determination, you can achieve your goals. 17 Likes 1 Share |
