It’s not indirectly o, the north is no longer that power broker it used to be. There’s little to desire right now; banditry, insurgency, religious intolerance, no developmental direction and sundry issues. The interesting thing is that it is the so called northern elites that led us here starting from that Sharia move in 1999. This is the culmination of religious and political stupidity and I don’t see things improving within the next decade. Almost no political or religious leader is speaking against these issues, and the region keeps burning down. In fact, some political and traditional leaders have been fingered as sponsors or backers of bandits and terrorists.
