Gradually, enmity is creeping in the trajectory of Northern politics.

Meaning; their unity isn't as strong as it use to be in the past, and what this means is that indirectly, the South might overtake the North in terms of power.

This is just a fight between two brothers and their political allies. The enmity in the south is at it's peak right now. South is never taking power in Nigeria.

The thing is this; The Federal High court does not have jurisdiction over chieftaincy matters. The Federal court is not even supposed to entertain the case. So under the law, all orders given by that court is null and void.

Then, this is just the governor telling Bayero that he's the governor.

He should wait this out and obey court orders..

It won't look good for security agencies to start disobeying the Governor... because, they may not allow forceful demolition
Nonsense

Tinubu supporters and yeye talk

The governor will use force if bayero do anyhow .

It’s not indirectly o, the north is no longer that power broker it used to be. There’s little to desire right now; banditry, insurgency, religious intolerance, no developmental direction and sundry issues. The interesting thing is that it is the so called northern elites that led us here starting from that Sharia move in 1999. This is the culmination of religious and political stupidity and I don’t see things improving within the next decade. Almost no political or religious leader is speaking against these issues, and the region keeps burning down. In fact, some political and traditional leaders have been fingered as sponsors or backers of bandits and terrorists. This is also a cautionary tale for the SE regarding the IPOB issue; the rebellion you condone today will mutate into a monster that tries to eat you up tomorrow and against which you may be able to do nothing. Painful turn of events. This is not the north I know.

Politics and governance in other region aside from South West as been bitter and underdeveloped while resort in demolishing such a value santuary status of such because of political and ethnics differences. So bad that this particular building is been maintained with tax payers money and when another government comes and he will also start thinking of building this again and the circle continues. Things like this can never happened in the south west that is why the region is developing everyday.
South West should be a region template that other regions should looked after if they want this country to be on the promise Land compare to other sane clime.

Just my one cent. Thanks and God bless you all and Nigeria at large.

This guy or any other of the emirs shouldn't have agreed to occupy the Kano emirate throne when Sanusi was deposed.
See now, the same thing is being done to him.

Their business. What's the work of emirs in Nigeria if not to chop money and deceive their gullible followers? With Nigeria's economy going down the drain gradually and insecurity at a dramatic rise, the traditional rulership system has failed and has no benefits to the people of Nigeria. They should be scraped because they're politicians too deceiving Nigerians like their like in local, state and federal governments.

Well, when you look at the judgements from Nigeria's courts, you will see that the 2023 general election was rigged by INEC and the APC judiciary judges was well aware and used federal might to seal the illegality. So, that's where the rascality started, Buhari initiated the rascality (refusing to obey court order and getting away with it till date) and Tinubu endorsed it and continued from there, thinking everyone was blind to see. That's why you now see state governors buying SUVs and increasing the allowances of their state assembly members and state judiciary judges and state attorney,in order to use them to do their biddings during elections and other cases.

Nigeria doomed, courtesy of Buhari and Tinupooo, it remains the collapse which we re all waiting to see.

Contempt of court. If the matter is in court, why is the Kano government embarking on this action? This is the same government filing an appeal. Nigerian governors always try to act smart but in reality, they are very foolish. Who doesn't know this is an attempt to circumvent the court? That is why I have no issue with federal might being used on them. Obasanjo was very good at that and they deserved it. Nigerian governors are power-drunk elements.

If you belive the Kano Emirate had N4b that Sanusi alegedly mismanaged then your brain need to be examine.

Tareq1105:

Bcoz Sanusi committed act of insubordination and mismanagement of over #4b Emirate funds to which he couldn't give account hence his removal.

Unlike Bayero who was never queried nor committed any infractions. The power that be in the state, particularly kwankwaso just wanted him out.

You caused the state house of assembly to pass a law today, you signed it same day and you announced his removal for no offense.
