Our experts are always ready to be led by their nose in their analysis. If you look at the global prices of diesel, among the major oil producing countries of the world, Nigeria's diesel price is among the highest. This is so even amongst other import dependent countries like Angola, Sudan, Algeria, Egypt etc. So what's all this nonsense incomplete analysis. In Iran, diesel is going for just about N10/per litre, N40/litre in Libya, about N300 in Egypt, Algeria and Angola and even about N900 in Sudan as against N1200 in Nigeria. So what happened |

We know, some of are no fan of having high hopes neither are we a fan of projections, we want to see things in real time. Meanwhile in other news, the Kenyans are protesting the financial bill aka budget while some of the never do well bunch of thieves we have here wouldn't mind smuggling in some figures into the already 9ja budget and their stooges and wastrels wouldn't mind throwing their support for them. What I know for sure is the redemption Africa need might not come from Nigeria, let those who are serious go for it. |

CountinBlessins:you speak like an educated illiterate, sorry if that offends you. So for your mind because you have a job and have invested in a lot, you now have immunity to the economic challenges of the country? See reasoning from my fellow country man. If the purchasing power of the people drop below average across 80%, and investors keep running away as a result of the economic challenges via inflation what do you think will happen to that your job/ investment? Remain the same in profit making or dwindle in profit making? No one is free from this quagmire, we are all effected in one way or the other. From manufacturing to human capital investment to health and government including NGO Even the politicians are not free 100% on this present catastrophe, they would have yide to labor demand to at least pay workers 150,000 minimum wage No dey deceive yourself my brother, all of us are in this shit together unless you are dining and winning with the politicians who depends on free public founds without accountability. Aside that every legal hustler dey feel this heat |

Racoon:.. that is why the petroleum refinery sector needs competition ..at least if we had other refineries to compete with Dangote and compete with each other...this will bring down prices of fuel disel and other petroleum products |
Re: Why Petrol, Diesel Prices May Not Drop Despite Dangote Refinery — Experts by ufotunang: 11:47am On Jun 22 |
The petroleum refinery sector needs competition...if they are other refineries working and competing with Dangote and with each other...it will reduce Dangote monopoly and controls on the petroleum oil sector and stop Dangote from dictating the price of fuel disel and other petroleum products in Nigeria and which will create a competitive market and bring down prices of fuel disel and other petroleum products... |
Re: Why Petrol, Diesel Prices May Not Drop Despite Dangote Refinery — Experts by ufotunang: 11:50am On Jun 22 |
lordm:..with other modular refineries working and with competition in the petroleum refinery sector disel will drop.further to 300 per litre |
