Boss I swear you first me type this thing. He would've been highest goal scorer now after Own E. Goal grin

And people geh mind dey talk nonsense on Osimhen during AFCON. Ronaldo missed one 1-v-1 chance 🆚 Czech Republic the other day and has not scored in two games now. Even the entire France never score one goal for this tournament.

The issue is not about Osimhen alone but other strikers too like Sadiq,Onuachu,Moffi and Awoniyi….do we give them the chance to succeeds

Ighalo was nailed cuz of Argentina missed,so not only Osimhen.

We criticize our players anyhow and this always bringing confidence issues.

Yes you are right but should we find it hard to beat Lesotho,Zimbabwe and Benin with our players, missing Osimhen in those matches should not be an issue but wait o,Osimhen has not play single WC qualifying match for us?

I was even talking in respect of last AFCON

It is not debatable that we ought to be in a better position in our qualifiers than we are right now

Do yo know how old is Finidi, coming out to say what?see I hate it when one is trying to support nonsense just cus one is a fan.

I respect and rate Osimhen highly but some attitude is no no for me,talking and disrespecting people anyhow,on top wetin….Stephen Keshi was banned from Nigeria football and left the country as a sad young boy but never disrespected Nigeria. The same Keshi was maligned by Alex Akinyemi on live television watched by millions of Nigerians but Keshi did not respond.

Recently Sadiq had issues with eagles, dropped from Afcon team but never go online ranting. He had issue with Finidi too but never go on IG ranting but for some to condemn the act they are bringing in contexture respect of white men.

Sincerely the issue is not about Finidi but our APOTY winner on IG talking like Portable, disrespecting Nigerians, reacted to unsubstantiated rumors that till date no one can come out to substantiate.

Next thing was another angle to the baseless story that Finidi said this to few friends and one of them went ahead to tell Osimhen and next,VO to went on IG,cursing people,if it is true is that not stupidly for VO to react in that manner.

Just check thegoodjoe and TheSuperNerd responses on the issue and you see perfectly comments, they condemned VO but to some VO can’t do wrong.

As you said we should let it slide, nothing we say here had any real impact whatsoever on what is going on out there but good that we are rubbing minds as football fans.

I will not say anything on this again.I wish Osimhen well.

Respect Do4luv and Happy Sunday

Sir, I don't know how to put these to make you understand, buh you should know of kids of those days,

Their motto is RESPECT is reciprocate, If you don't %espect them, don't expect them to,

even me, am going through same thing, imagine a kid I carried in my hands right from birth, raise to primary school, and when something happen that's not my fault, she insult me for it,

is that respect or disrespect, and when I clarify what happens she apologized,

That's why I want FG to come out and put all to bed, until then, I will give VO the benefits of doubts for his action,

Peace6my Elder, trust you are having a splendid sunday

Of course, the way Osimhen handled the issue was improper, however exonerating Finidi is what I do not understand.

If one listens to that IG rant without sentiment you could see where Osimhen is coming from. I understand Osimhen cos I worked with his type for years.
Grew up in the ghetto, no mentor, no parents etc.

He called Finidi in the presence of his personal Doctor. Finidi even asked him to give the phone to the Doctor to see the screen himself. Osimhen was extremely respectful and was calling him coach throughout that phone conversation.

Then Osimhen made a very interesting request "can I come to support the boys"?.
Finidi's response to that simple question says a lot about him! Disrespecting the team Superstar is a no for me, no matter who you are. Lewa, Neymar etc were allowed into the camp. Why deny the APOTY such respect.

Then the leak from the 3 hours convo with NFF came out.
Osimhen waited 3 days for Finidi/NFF to clarify/deny that info while suffering serious attack from online trolls.

This is a guy going through one of the moment that will determine his destiny. Do you know the amount of damage bad PR would do to his career at this critical moment. Bad PR left and right cos of what? For giving his all for his country? For loving his people? For running himself to death for you guys?
What do you people really want from him?
You don't even hold your miserable politicians accountable this much!

Let the boy breath and if you doubt his commitment to the Nigerian cause all what he said will happen to you! Simple!
I won't go further than that!

I hope these big clubs hasn’t blacklisted Osimhem because no one can tell me that, the same market that has signed mudrikh, Fernandez, or other astronomical amouth for players cannot all of a sudden afford that 120 million release clause for a 25 year osimehn. Arsenal and psg needs to act ASAP

Some people just like dragging issue. What we want to know is, has it been proven that Finidi made such statement?

And let me clarify that most people condemning Osimhen are actually concerned about his brand and status rather than whatever issue he had with Finidi.

A whole king of Naples and African footballer of the year talking like agbero online. Especially when you factor in the fact that he is in transfer speculations and the way clubs frown on indiscipline.

NFF do not have money for a foreign coach! Amaju put us in this difficulties with the way he handled Rohr sack and subsequently appointing Paserio.
Collins Udoh don give you guys the gist already that's if you pay attention. They are waiting for Siasia! Sia-Sali! lol!

Amuneke is the Minister's choice from day one but there are some powerful forces in NFF who don't want him-- Amaju & his cohorts.

This actually came to my mind when the 3 goals ruled offside was mentioned in the game yesterday.

It has already been mentioned here, earlier, that Osimhen is another version of Lukaku.

Osimhen really fell my hand with that his video. I had always been one of his Grass to Grace disciples. He was a very strong brand Ambassador for kids playing street football in the ghettos. It was obvious the Streets never left him.

If only he had calmed down to buttress his points, all fingers could have been pointing towards Finidi today.

Finidi was never Super Eagles Class. With this I don't think we can trust any other local coach going forward. 2026 WC was going to be the last for most of this generation, who are already in their late 20s but our chances are now hanging by the thread.

His response was wrong, agreed! The subsequent reactions were all manner of wrong too.

Why should he be the one to call Finidi?
Finidi should have come out to clarify/call Osimhen himself if he actually respect the APOTY.
Osimhen could vividly observe the lack of respect for him even from Finidi's response during the phone call bouhaha!

I read between the lines!
You won't understand cos you don't come from his background!

Why? Why? Why? Haba, this is painfully unbearable. You keep repeating this same sentiment as if to say Finidi disrespected the players therefore it is justified for Osimhen to disrespect him yet none of you can show where Finidi mentioned Osimhen.

We have cried it loud that it was newspapers that broadcasted that falsehood, yet you keep hammering on it as if is true.

Okay, let's even take the other side that says Finidi said it in confidence and assume it is true. Isn't that a measure of respect that he said it not publicly but in private?
This Osimhen issue is so clear yet it baffles me how we muddy the facts.
