Why has the owner refused to fix the steering before selling?
Also, how sure are you that the car don't have any other underlying problem.

Unless you are ready to buy , then spend some money to fix up any repair that comes up.

From my novice experience, if that’s the issue with the car, then it’s not a big deal. You don’t buy a used car and not expect to fix anything. Every car have come with is worth and value. Toks bidding price starts from 6.5m, while naija used from 2.8 to 3.7m pending on the value. Why not take a mechanical to the place and let him or her check if it is worth the price?

On a norms, the car is worth more than that if that steering issues no dey there. Abi?

I won’t say fix, but manageable. Changed the gasket and the weather has been favorable for driving. While changing the gasket, we realized man has to start planning for another engine, but went ahead to change the gasket and smooth the top. I’ve been using it and work has been going smooth so far, no such things as off again, slight vibration once in a while(maybe in hot sun, but morning and evening is perfect). Engine is around 280k though, so I am bracing up for come whatever. As for the vibration, I am suspecting one of my fan, might change it next week to see if it will resolve that.

But he says the seller will fix the pump before inspection. Why agree on a price before inspection? I think price should come to okay after inspection.

the vibration has stopped...it's just remaining the occasional jerking while on motion. it did that twice today

I'm having this issue with my corolla rn, it jerks when getting to 70km/h.
I intend to change the fuel pump, and hopefully that's the problem cox I can't be doing try and error by changing many parts...
