THE LECTURER PROVOKE THE STUDENT WHO COMPLIED AND WALKED MORE THAN 10METRES TO EXIT, ONLY TO BE HARRASED BY A CRIMINAL BY THIS STUPID LECTURER. this is ivory tower not a secondary school mr lecturer.

Onus is on lecturer to behave beyond reproach.
He can’t fail the student without cause . He must have a marking scheme which indicates why a student gets certain marks . Anyways my 2 cents

You have a point but don’t forget we’ve seen and heard of several cases of students being failed by their lecturers just to get back at them. Yeah, I strongly support fair grading regardless of any circumstances but this is Naija!!

Video shows he was alredy leaving but the Lecturer wenr ahead of that to push him out. That's a physical assault.

That's exactly what happened. I didn't fight back, just defended myself against a tyrant.

My class was always punished even when we didn't do anything wrong. Since that incident, that teacher left my class alone. It's one of the best memories my colleagues have of me in school, and still talk about till today.

School didn't punish me afterward too. Some teachers in public schools are just bullies that must be tamed.

First of all, you do NOT put yours hands on anybody more or less a grown man. I do NOT know what the circumstance was that led to the student being dragged out by his shirt but you do not do that to anyone. The teacher had an option to call the campus police or security to have them escort the student out of the class assuming he committed any infraction that warrants him to be removed.

Why is it that a significant number of Niralanders seem to only feel worthy if they are able to validate a Nigeria occurrence because it happened in the West or Abroad ?

To this types of people, anything that happens in Nigeria, which they believe does not happen abroad , is automatically barbaric or wrong.

This attitude forces individuals like me to reluctantly reference the West, in order to justify things that happen in Nigeria, as though the West is the paragon of all things correct, best and good. For me, this is painful because I am a sort of Futurists and subsequently don't view the West as exemplary but the source of most things wrong with the world.

I never want Nigeria to be like, London, Dubai or Tokyo I want Nigeria to be better than these places. I'm the type that don't just want to copy a Roundabout, I wonder what's wrong with a squareabout, triangularabout....
