P0325 is the knock sensor...changed that already.
P2646 is the ivtec sensor at the back... it was cleaned, but it didn't respond, so the jerk still continues at 80km/hr.
The rewire said we have to order it from Lagos.
Still trying to verify the cost.

The whole stress is distressing already 😫
Before replacing it, confirm its responding and working on a live scan.
Don't just throw parts at it.

I have a kinda excessive negative camber on the rear wheels of my 05 accord. It makes my tire wear out on the inside. What could be the problem? Weak shocks or worn upper control arm?

Hello house, I got a naija used accord 07 with engine thermostat removed. I bought a new thermostat to install. Could someone help me with the correct wiring diagram to ensure the thermostat is properly wired after inserting it into the engine. I really need this information to ensure the mechanic does the wiring perfectly to ensure the installed thermostat doesn't malfunction n lead to engine overheating

Not even a witch would tell you which part is faulty remotely without physically inspecting it.

Your thermostat is purely mechanical and has no wires attached to it.
I guess you're talking about reverting the fan to come on and off with the rising temperature and when thermostat opens.
Download the wiring diagram for your car to help with it, or better still, get an electrician to help reverse back to factory setup.

Exactly, I want the wiring diagram for the radiator fan to ensure the electrician does the work as factory did. I don't always assume mechanic is perfect, especially in this kind of work which no room for mistake is tolerated so that my top doesn't burn in case work is not properly done

Is it safe to top up transmission oil after a car has been driven and engine is still warm?

Honda suggest to let your engine reach optimum temperature and wait for 90secs to guage the transmission oil. If it's not guaged, you can add or top it up. It's only engine I know it's not good to guage while still hot.

Good Morning All,

I recently got HONDA CR-V 2000

The car starts only when the gear is on neutral.
But when on park, it refuses to start.

While driving yesterday, the car refused starting again; which prompted me to take it to a Total fuel station mechanic close by.
He saw it and confirmed it was the KICK.
He brought out the KICK from the engine and was surprised, saying the engine has never been touched.
After opening d kick, he said d brushes has chopped off, which he serviced and coupled back without result..

Later another battery was used to start the car, before mine was placed back as he confirmed that the battery charger is good....

Also when the car is on motion, it trips off by itself, then you will have to return the gear to neutral and start start severally before it pick.

Also when the car was on, the Total mechanic removed the first plug, the car wanted to off which he returned. He did for d second and third plug and nothing happened, but the fourth plug did same as the first.
So he said it's only Two plugs functioning.

MY ISSUES
The car starts only when the gear is on Neutral. But when on park gear, it won't start.

The car goes off while on motion and doesn't hold fire.

Please Kindly Assist Me All.

Please House,

What type of Oil does the gurus recommend I use for Honda CR-V 2000

Also, since the official battery of CR-V 2000 is 45amps, can I buy and be using 75amps battery.
Does it have any effect.

Kindly advise on both please 🙏

Where are you located?

Like I said earlier, pls check if your transmission fluid is at the right level. That's the first point of action.

ello everyone.

My transmission fluid mixed with coolant and the gear fluid was flushed out. Car is Honda accord 2007.

Temporarily, the cooler was bypassed.

What are my options:

Continue with the bypass?

Buy an external cooler? How much?

Change radiator?

Please I need comments from seasoned professionals.......

Op, when things go south, what you need to think about is root cause, then try to prevent such from happen again.
In your case, install external cooler in front of your radiator such that radiator fan will aid heat extraction form the cooler. You can then continue to use your radiator after necessary repair on it.

Thank you for this insight. Do you have an idea on the price of the external cooler?

Thanks again.

My car is thermostat controlled and as such, the fan comes on only when the engine is "hot". How does this help cooling the transmission?
