Special forces or special operations forces (SOF) are military units trained to conduct special operations

Special forces implement unconventional operations by air, land, or sea during combat or peacetime as members of elite teams. These activities include offensive raids, demolitions, reconnaissance, search and rescue, and counterterrorism.

Every country have their own.

Yes Nigeria navy, airforce, army and police has a special force unit. We even have a secret elite force unit.
Navy has SBS, army has SF, police has CTU, PMF, SF, SWAT.

I know your next question is where are they? Are they working? Yes very well, even with all the sabotage like during GEJ time, money ment to buy arms for us was divert. Every force, unit, organization has his role to play we only get call when water pass garri, to take out high profile target, carry high risk ops.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) was a Nigerian Police Force unit created in late 1992 to deal with crimes associated with robbery, motor vehicle theft, cattle rustling, and firearms

Special forces are elite military units

Actually, we have. But they're just like boys scouts with inadequate sophistication when compared to other country's special forces...

We have, but you only see them when water pass garri.

I remember a time when Abuja was on code red for terrorist bombing.

The guys I saw that day were definitely higher than special forces.

Those guys are absolute "animals." You can't even look at their faces.

There just several brutal units that you and I will never know about.

Nigerian soldiers that have not been able to dislodge boko haram for almost 15 years now or another one? They will just dress some soldiers up like clowns, call them special forces and send them into the bush to fight and die without proper equipment some as simple as binoculars
