Hi everyone I have been observing this thread for a while, I've been very active in the US and UK Japa thread After some time I Nature spoilt my plan I realized that I couldn't meet up with US because it's so expensive followed somehow by UK For some days now I've been researching about German undergraduate school fees in Public University and I realized that it's somehow cheaper, I also realized that I can study and work as an undergraduate in Germany, I have little money now but I want to double my hustle and see the Amount I can save in next year ending cos am not in a rush, Pls my people I need some info on how much it will cost me to travel to Germany with undergraduate Visa I plan to hustle there and contribute to the one I saved here while also doing my Online gig, Note that I don't have any Degree here and I don't want to cause there's no time again To waste here Pls someone should answer me, last year I read that Germany won't give appointment date till 18months time I don't know how true this is |

Light78: This is a thread with different parts. This part is the 8th page. All questions you need can be found from page one of this part. At least that's the best place to start. When you have gone through that reading you can now ask for updates such as the current waiting period for category B visa applicant amd the current block account amount (these two have changed since the this part 8 enquiries started). Kindly follow sequentially. If I had enough time, I would write everything for you to understand but I don't. Incase no one does that for you, resort to what I advised above. Good luck. |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Hannania(m): 5:39pm On Jul 03 |
JAPAHTML:1. Visa appointment takes 22 months for undergraduate study before you get a date. First decide if that's feasible for your before you consider Germany 2. Average semester fee for public schools is €350 per semester , and €10,000 per year for private schools. There's no need wasting your resources on a private school because almost all top schools in Germany are public and Germany is not crazy about reputation like the US. All schools are standard. 3. You'll need a block account of €11,208. You'll be able to access €934 from it monthly when you get to Germany. It's called block account because you'll "block" it in a German account. An alternative to this is to use a sponsorship letter. It's a letter given to you by someone working in Germany who can afford to pay the €934 to you after his/her own monthly expenses. Each city have there requirements. Consider the above before you think of Germany 2 Likes |

Hannania: Hi thank you so much for your response normally I have no issues with the visa appointment period, again since I only have WAEC cert. Can I apply to their (public) University directly? Cause normally I can save upto €7k and I think I can manage it while hustling for more over there (flight and Visa application money apart) and again since the situation is like this now what's your advice in terms of Applying for Admission so that it can match with the Appointment time So that the Admission won't be revoked thanks for your time |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Hannania(m): 9:52pm On Jul 03 |
JAPAHTML:You can't get direct admission with your WAEC in Germany. You need a 100l result from any school. Secondly, Germany is not like the UK for POF. I explained it to you above. Go and read it again. As for sponsorship letter, you're ideally meant to get it from someone you know because you have to prove your relationship with the person. If you do other wise and get scammed or whatnot, you're on your own. I'll advise you stop asking such questions online. It can be detrimental and possibly ruin your chances. Good luck 1 Like |

Hannania: Alright thank you so much, I have someone over there I will try to communicate with him ASAP Again pls you didn't answer my question about when to apply for Admission so that it won't be revoked because of late appointment, should I book the appointment and then wait a little before applying for Admission like when it's like 4 months or 5 to go? |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Hannania(m): 7:30am On Jul 04 |
Gabriel2308:Lol, It's always I have a friend. BSC admission in Germany requires 100 level transcript as NECO and WAEC are not sufficient for direct admission. If you're one of those agents, I advise you avoid this thread. For all the newbies, use DAAD.de and Uni-assist to check for admission requirements. 2 Likes |

Not convenient. Train connection to Weiden from Augsburg takes longer time. If you have morning lectures, it would be difficult to arrive early. If you can get accommodation in Munich, it would be best. Train connection from Munich Central Station(Hauptbahnhof) is better and you can arrive early for lectures too. From Munich you have a straight connection unlike from Augsburg. Also you have a better chance of getting a better part-time job in Munich than in Augsburg. Munich is a bigger city than Augsburg. There are numerous jobs for students. Ayo1011: |

Hey guys. I’m really confused now cause I didn’t know German appointment dates takes long until a friend sent me a link of this thread which I went through from the beginning till now. I’ve been admitted to university of Bremen and I’ve paid my semester fees because if I didn’t pay within two weeks, the admission would be given to someone else. I’m planning to apply for the deutchland scholarship so as to use it as a means of moving to category A. I’m confused and don’t know what to do since appointment date takes so long now. And what other things can be done to fasten the appointment date if there’s no scholarship cause have paid semester fees. Anyone admitted to university of Bremen here please can we link up so as to serve as guide please? Would be needing you guys advice please cause I’m scared. Was thinking I would be able to resume October this year |

emmaaar: I think you should *aggressively* pursue the scholarships. > https://www.mystipendium.de/ > https://www2.daad.de/deutschland/stipendium/datenbank/en/21148-scholarship-database/?back=1&origin=1 Ask the University if they allow deferring just in case |

I know some students that school at Deggendorf and work in Munich. It takes 2hrs from Munich Hauptbahnhof to get to Deggendorf. For Regensburg, there is a good connection from Munich Central Station. Depends on the time the train leaves, sometimes it is less than 2hrs. It is a straight connection without needing to switch trains. Nuremberg has a connection to Munich Central Station via Ingolstadt. Sometimes, you may need to change train at Ingolstadt. Many student who study in OTH Weiden and Amberg lives in Nuremberg. ICE trains are the fastest in this route. If you can secure admissions in any university or college in Nuremberg, you can get a decent student job in Nuremberg. All the best! Ayo1011: 2 Likes |
