Good morning Oga Seun, it’s only logical for people to presume so , not just him but so many others who rose through your platform , so don’t think you are talking to just him, because your comments are subject to scrutiny and riddles for judgement .

We all know those who benefited and rose through your platform are likely to feel attached and so regard you as a friend considering the level of interaction you’ve had over the years on the platform including their valuable suggestions in challenging times to the growth of the platform they have benefited from which came from a place of love and survival instinct , that has made them feel attached to you somehow , this is why they see you as a friend ,not just him but so many others who share the same feelings , it’s only logical.

But as public figure it’s necessary to just make it clear to the public that you and nairaland does not condone domestic violence in anyway In one paragraph shot and leave the matter there because as human our comments, opinions differs and likely to be too sensitive to the authority , civil society groups, your fans, your self acclaimed friends , moralist and the watchdogs who are all present on this platform because if you keep responding they are likely to pin a point on you , so ensure you stay safe

Whether you are friends or not, he served as a moderator of your forum. Maybe he was your enemy when he was helping you to moderate your forum free of charge but the fact that he contributed to the success of this forum should earn him a bit of respect from you.

When people who have been of help to you have issues, the least you should do is try see how you can help and not be the one escalating issues for them. What will you gain from trying to tarnish his image? Pushing such an unconfirmed thread about his arrest to front page yesterday was absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.

By even saying he’s not your friend, you are showing you have no respect and loyalty to your moderators whether former or current. That’s not a message you should be passing out.

......let me add 2kobo to jarus DV matter. His Lawyer clarified yesterday on X that he wasn't arrested as its being speculated on SM.

He also reposted Fatteh Hamid's submission that its rather Jarus that's violated and abused by his wife.

Man clearly said, jarus's retaliation is simply self defence, hence no case against him. Note: Hamid is an Investigative Journalist with Punch Newspaper.
