The Ikwerres, Ogoni and others.
Don't you believe the scientific report that you people want to attach to the ikwerres by force? We are no brothers. No friends. We have nothing to do with you people. Simple.

I never ever said anything about brothers. I have nothing to proved to you. If you remember the first thing I said. I listed 3 things you must do just as you abolished new yam festival and you said we stole your language. Keep causing problem you will be remembered when your time is up.

To know how stupid the claim about Ikwerre is Igbo is, It's like the Hausa claiming that kambari are Hausas or the Yorubas claiming that Itsekiri are Yorubas.
Only the Igbos like to call other minorities Igbos. One of the many reasons they can't be trusted with power in Nigeria.

It is a general belief in Ondo south that Ikale, Ilaje and Apoi (what you call Ijaw) are from the same root.
Which Ondo south? That's how you guys come online and start saying what you don't know..

Ikale and Ilaje are Yoruba and speak a Yoruba dialect while Apoi are yorubanized Ijaw.. They're immigrants.

The other Rivers tribes know Ikwerre as Igbo till today but then also know them as fellow Rivers people. It's just like Kalabari and Ijaw whom we all know as one group but then Kalabari are Rivers people. I've noticed just like some Ikwerre people say that political rise of Ikwerre and Rivers people in national politics is often pitched on perception of their ethnicity by outsiders which is what usually leads to having their leaders choose a side between being Igbo or denying Igbo. The Amaechi, Odili, Jonathan and Wike example is enough for any interested party to study. The perception of Odili as Igbo cost him Vice Presidency as the other South-south groups argued that it was the turn of minorities and he was swapped with Jonathan.
Ikwerre is recognized in constitution as distinct ethnic group from Igbo but culturally and linguistically Ikwerre is part of the many districts of Igboland belonging to the Southern Igbo broadly called Oratta Ikwerre comprising Ikwerre, Etche, Oratta, Ngor, Okpala, Omuma and Ohaji.

Una no dey learn.

You answer Ibo names like Amaechi, Elechi, Emeka and claim you are not Ibos.

When you commit crimes with those names, the Ibos bear the brunt of your criminality while you hide and laugh at them. Even some of my yoruba muslim brothers supporting you know that you are just fooling around. They just do it to spite the Ibos. You Amaechis and Emekas of Ikwerreland are all omo Ibos in their eyes.

Ibos are not arguing with you. Drop their language and customs that you borrowed. De-linguinize and de-acculturate yourself of their language, and re-linguinize yourselves with your ancestral Bini names.

Ibos have a cordial relationship with the Bini, you will still be friends but confusion about brotherhood must end.

He has not responded to date. Now I am challenging you to come with such. That's because ikwere speaks Igbo and do everything the Igbo way

Itshekiri is more distant to Yoruba language than Ikwere to Igbo itshekiri is mixed of both Yoruba, igala and edoid stuck but Ikwere is just an igbo dialect even someone from Anambra can communicate effectively with an Ikwere man

Infact oba of Benin have denied them having anything to do with them

In the North they have hundreds of indigenous languages even tho they speak hausa they still van go back to thier original language

Ikwere no other language, culture, tradition, traditional religion different from Igbos

We are not forcing them

they should stop disgracing the huge community trying to be people they're not even Benin they are claiming is rejecting them

Yorubas and Hausas cum Fulani saved the minorities of the south from the high handedness of the Igbos. We lost lives during the war but it was for our liberation. Wike renamed Liberation Stadium after Gowon who led this.

Please stop using our language, names and customs. Change it to something that's a far away from Igbo as possible.

This is a stupid example. Ikwerre people speak a dialect of Igbo, practice similar customs and hold similar titles. That is why you are being called Igbo.

Just change all of these and everyone will stop confusing you for Igbo people.

This argument will result to something else cos I know how children of the west love causing problem. If you are ikwerre no problem no one is taking that from you. But if you say you inherited Igbo and you don't belong to them, in my best knowledge for you not to associate with this Igbo tribe the best thing for you to do is:

1. Stop speaking there language
2. Stop practicing there culture
3. Stop answering there names.

Once you start doing these three things I listed above we can categorically say oh ikwerre's are truly not Igbo. Please stop the mumbojumbo it's very annoying instead do these three things listed above thank you.
since you share no ancestry with england you stop stop writing and speaking English, stop wearing English dress and stop answering English names.

If you can't stop these things it means your ancestors are British.

Now you clearly misrepresented colonialism and ethnicity. Nobody forced ikwerre people to speak igbo, nor practice there culture. You say oh we migrated from Benin so therefore we are not igbo, fine. Now the question you have to ask yourself is were there people occupying those land before you came there? How did you start speaking Igbo were you forced? This is common sense

Ok if you say you are not igbo why don't you go back to benin

Who wants lazy ikwerre to join the great igbo nation? Just dey play. Nothing will make our generation to accept you but remember nothing Like ikwerre as a group per say. You people migrated from Benin to occupy our land and will be sent back once nigeria splits. It's going to be fire for fire. Day never break woke! The Aros in aluu, iguruta and elele alimini will recover their lands. That time dey approach and you must return to Benin when the time comes. As ijaw dey hit una from east, we go hit una from north likewise ogoni will heat you guys from west. The hour is approaching.

😆 Lol...

The key question is do people migrate from the water/sea side to the hinterland or do people migrate fron the hinterland to the water? According to this video, the Ibos migrated from Ikwerre Land to their present abodes. Meaning the Ibo came out from under the Ikwerre and are therefore an off shoot of the Ikwerre nation.

And Amaechi, the formal rivers state governor. How he adopted Rotimi is still mystery to me. The name is Yoruba but he has nothing to do with Yoruba

Many people love the advanced Yoruba culture, and love identifying with it. There are many northern families that I've met that gave their kids distinctively Yoruba names. The only group that hates that culture is that only group that never had culture, but stole the culture of those groups around them that were their slave masters.

Chris Igbokwe the Ikwerre man. And why do you insist on sharing names and traditions that belong to Drugsters, Armed robbers and criminals, when you have your original Bini ancestry?

You Ikwerre claim Ibos are a stigma, why bear their names?

No Christian bears the name Judas because it carries a stigma.

Why would you abandon your Original Bini names to bear the stigmatized Ibo name?

Why not retrace your steps and relinguinize yourselves with your ancestral Bini names? How hard is that?

Names are important cultural tools of identity. They are not trivial.
