I live somewhere else within Lagos but not too far to Lotto Bus Stop, Ogun state about 25kms.

So, Starlink is at full capacity in my area and I was placed on a waiting list for 2025, I canceled that, started all over again.

But then, the closest area where there is coverage available is Lotto Bus stop, Ogu. State cos Lagos State is congested. So I used Lotto Bus Stop as Service Address and my home address as shipping address. It was shipped to my home address, I activated and logged in to my account and changed my service address to my home address.

At the point of placing your order, you will be asked for two addresses, Shipping Address and Service Address, so that's where you do the trick.

It's allowed.
GoodBoi1:

I am trying to understand. Did you update the service address to lotto bus stop and then it worked?

Nice. Why I hate streaming sites is that they are mostly filled with adverts and not FHD

Canceled my deposit and reordered starlink. It has already been shipped so soon. From the dhl information it seems the package is coming from Lagos, maybe they have a warehouse in Lagos, even though I ordered on starlink website and the kit info is already showing on the dashboard. From the look of things, the kit will arrive this week.

Way to go bro. With unlimited internet access, you have no business with the regular cable TV. Welcome to the IPTV world of unlimited entertainment regular cable TV subscribers can only dream of.

The solution is to get solar panels, charge controller, inverter and LiPo or Lithium iron battery pack. I have those but the Starlink consumption draws too much in addition to my usage.

So I have to get another battery pack

Since i did this bypass mode i have seen improved speed, I can't argue with the person who said external router makes it better.

The router takes over WIFI services + more from the starlink router. For example if you want to use VPN inside your router instead of installing apps in all your devices.

I bought mine for 118k Computer Village

Good thing is the Router is a beast, I didn't even need to put it inside my apartment, I placed it somewhere outside my apartment and signal just full everywhere

If you don't intend to share your Starlink with neigbors or don't live in a large house like 3bedroom or more, you don't need it.

But if you live in a big house and intend to share connection with your neigbors, this is a solid option to broadcast wifi signal, protect your host network, monitor users, plug Lan cables for those that need it and recoup some investment on this stuff

It did and I find that interesting.

I got 365mbs at some point but it's gone down to 200+

On a norm, I get between 115 to 210mbs or down to 55 when the network is "bad".

Is bad even the right word to use for 55mbps

Yippee!!! I have received the starlink and activated it. I used an available service location about 23-24km from my shipping address since my location is "Expanding in 2025" on starlink website. It took close to one hour to connect, might be weather, and the app did not ask me to change my service location or show restricted mode. Now I am on residential plan, 38k has been deducted from my account. Thanks for the tip : smiley smiley smiley

Does this mean I can connect more devices than starlink limit?
