Did I say otherwise? You use sentiment to read comments. That is why you quote people unnecessarily.

My point is that human rights is mentioned there and gay rights or LGBTQ rights can later become part of human rights.

These days, the terms ‘human rights ‘ and ‘inclusion’ (inclusivity) are generic terms for a lot of attributes, behaviors, beliefs etc.

You are just coming out of your shell instead of playing smart. You also added more comment to your original post.

In regards to your now modified post, they would have specifically mentioned gay or lesbian or trans right. But they did not. Africans are not stupid even if you think we are.

You modified your own comment after I had already quoted it. What I added to my comment does not change the original meaning. Stop playing smart. What I added to the comment is in line with the original one which you quoted. Stop fooling yourself. I only added more explanations to my comment, just as you did to your own comment.

This sounds vague. Who decides human rights? Can human rights vary according to countries? If LGBTQ is adopted into human rights, doesn't the signed agreement force the member countries to legalize LGBTQ?
So because of the LGBTQ, the country should exclude itself from the agreement and the other numerous benefits elude her?

I always laugh whenever I hear people make this empty boast.

Tinubu did what no politician has EVER done in the history of Nigeria.

He bought the election umpire.

And Nigerians did NOTHING.

In 2027, he will double or triple the amount and buy the electoral umpire.

And yet again, Nigerians will do Nothing

Melagros:
COMRADES, tinubu has signed that agreement in order to please the west at the detriment of Nigerians

We shall teach him a lesson in 2027, let me tell you this fact, the way tinubu will lose 2027 will be unimaginable

So all the African countries that signed are stupid and can't tell the difference between human right and LGBTQ rights. Even the punch editorial is stupid 🤷🏾‍♂️

They know what they are doing. They just try to play opposition in everyway. This is called backward opposition. They could care less if Nigeria benefits in anyway. If it's good news or anything that will bring development, they would still oppose.

They have even given human rights a new meaning just to disregard the government. They think All the 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries do not understand what they were signing since they do not have lawyers or since they are all stupid cheesy

You already have your opinion formed, so need for us to argue. LGBTQ are humans and we are talking about human right. A lot of countries opposed the clause and they narrowed it down to human rights without specifics. Just be watchful, they will rear their heads through the backdoor in due time.

Another step closer to Agenda2030.

Sovereignties are being destroyed, populations diluted and weakened.

Citizens are being stripped off their dignity and rights and strangers empowered and glorified.

Homelessness and lax criminal penalties are being normalised.

Former productive nations are being turned into nanny states filled with drugs and immorality.

shocked shocked

It's one of two things. Either you are in denial or you need to go back to school. Human rights encompasses women's rights, children's rights, indigenous People's rights, rights of people who are marginalized or have no place in society which the LGBTQ is part of, notice they never said children rights especially when kids are getting married to old men in the north rather they gave it under an umbrella

Now the big question is,does LGBTQ rights falls under human rights or not.do you need to thought that human rights is all encompassing?.right to practice LGBTQ,does it not fall under freedom of association/expression?.go back to united nation charter on human rights and you will know that as long as one puts pen on paper concerning human rights, you have signed LGBTQ.

Those that signed and fact checked the documents are not stupid.

The LGBTQ stuff was in the agreement last year but has been clearly taken out this year after Nigeria and many other African and Islamic countries both in Africa and Asia refused to sign last year.

These are questions, not claims. Answer the questions if you can. If you choose to treat the questions as claims, you are obviously delusional and sentimental.

The phrase "I have not commented on it" and "I don't take a stand" are repetitive.
The flow can be improved for better readability.
"Yet to understand" is slightly awkward and can be phrased better.

Corrected Version:
"Since the issue of the agreement began trending, I have refrained from commenting. I avoid taking a stand on matters I don't understand and try my best to avoid saying anything I cannot defend. Even with this article, I still do not fully understand the agreement."

Oga, there's a paragraph in the agreement that talks about Providing/funding healthcare services and gender inclusion.
It is a blanket statement that welcomes cosmetic surgeries, gender transformation surgeries et al...and gender inclusion from the EU perspective also includes all the binaries of gender identity.

If you take their money, you must accept their terms.
They didn't come to you, you saw them and all their conditions, yet you went to them.

Except there's a proviso that spells out the limits of the terms in the agreement, it conflicts with our domestic laws.

Nigeria's so called Youths may or may not know that a great deal of Nigeria's economic and social difficulties owes much to external Western control of international trade. A Western company uping stakes and pulling out of Nigeria may not necessarily mean it is doing so because of the economic climate or that it is unable to persevere. An influential nation like Nigeria, in terms of what it represents, will be subject to many neo colonial dictates and the Nigeria youths need to decide whether thire stomachs and sense of wellbeing in terms of material access is of greater importance than thire cultural moral independence.

not if ,it is already adopted into western definition of human right.then if you look at the clauses where lgbtq use to be it was replaced with the word modern best practice which equally means lgbtq.that Ambassador must be recalled immediately, the minister was not aware and all who took part in this signing need to be investigated for treason same as the eco money.what is going on is scary.people have spent there life's in the fielding fighting for the future of this country.some idiots in the name of presidents boys are there signing us into all kinds of slavery contract

Human right in this context is not completely a blanket term, it is dependent on the laws of the individual countries. The rights of a UK citizen for instance is different from that of a Nigerian citizen. So in all, it's still dependent on the laws as domiciled in the constitution of that nation.
If LGBTQ is not legalised in Nigeria, it can never be a right.
